[Can you help me unravel my latest mistake?] Sun gleamed on the reddened scalp of the teenager sitting below the light canopy of the trees. Though their leaves hung over, reflecting a dappled pattern on the ground below it, it offered very little protection for one as fair as the current youth I speak of. Lank hair framed her face, and the expression she wore was one of more restlessness than usual. It was most inordinate for her to feel these emotions of haste, when it was a fact that this stump beneath the canopy of trees was one of her favorite places, and yet she felt the need to move. Perhaps it had something to do with the sounds of sheep being moved through the woods nearby to the upper pasture. But, most likely not. More likely, that this new feeling of boredom was owe to the fact that she so often found herself here. Yet, the pale teenager forced herself to stay still, perfectly aware of the fact she was not moving a muscle. Why was this? It was because she heard something. In the Feldman woods, miles away from civilization, Tzipporah heard something. Some sort of large animal. The need to run was more apparent now, and it was with great difficulty that she restrained herself. But she managed to. And as she sat under the trees, her feeling of apprehension increasing steadily, she realized how comfortable she had become in these woods, and how odd it was for this feeling of panic to overtake her. Sure, it was in no way unusual that a rather scrawny human being would want to run from whatever was pursuing it, but not here... not her. Seeming almost miles away, the sound of daily chores was taking place. Actually, perhaps it was because it was miles away. She had wandered this path so often, the girl hadn't thought twice about using it once more, and making her way to the stump in the middle of the woods. But now, with this odd noise echoing through the trees about her, she was genuinely worried about what lay ahead. Her first instinct was to go and explore it. She had felt she should really follow the noise, tracing it to it's root. But then a different instinct overtook. One she was in no way familiar with. Because, Tzjpporah Feldman was never worried about what wildlife lay in the forest. She new they had coyotes, the occasional black bear, and other smaller animals. But somehow this noise sounded human, not like the steady padding of coyote, and the thump of deer hooves against the leaves. No, this sound was definitely different. For an odd moment, Tzipporah debated whether to call out. Finally she had decided against this tactic, as it may only anger whatever was stalking her. So, with a heavy nervous tinge to her voice, Tzipporah called out, "Hello?" It was such a simple statement, yet somehow it seemed to confirm the fact that something was out there. For a brief moment, Tzipporah considered the possibility that the Feldman woods joined up with the park woods. One would have to be wandering, but certainly they joined at one part. And she was a couple miles out from the house. Even as she spoke the noise grew louder. Definitely footsteps, even rhythmic thumps against the soft leaf litter. Again, Tzipporah bit her lip, and turned from the noise. Somewhere a horse called out, his whinny just as piercing and mournful from a distance as it was from close up. Most likely Jack's horse, she thought, steadying herself. The thought did scare her for a moment though. The simple fact was that there was no other livestock near the woods."So what can it be?" Tzipporah voiced quietly, her pale brow knitted in concern.

Great, what had started out as a simple walk through the woods in the park had went all wrong. He didn't have the slightest clue where he was now. Which was sad after all, he'd lived in the town all of his life and now, he didn't know where he was. He thought that he was somewhere near a home that he'd driven by a couple of time when Brenden had secretly let him drive his truck. He didn't have his drivers license yet but he would in a couple of weeks. Brenden had been letting him drive his truck since before he even got his temps though. He'd said that he needed practice and the first few times he'd been a little nervous about driving his truck since he'd thought that it was way too big for him to handle. But things had turned out fine and now he drove it when they were on the back roads a lot now.
But that didn't help his situation now, he was mad at himself for getting lost. Yet he knew that he wasn't lost forever if he kept heading in this direction he was bound to run into somebody. Of course he knew for a fact that he was off of the parks property and right now he probably was on some private property. He hoped that whoever owned it didn't run out and just start shooting at him or something. Ok, so he admitted it, he had a fear of strangers but that was because every stranger that he met seemed to be from this town and they were always like. "I'm sorry about your brother." Saying they were sorry wasn't going to bring him back. No matter how hard he'd tried nothing ever would and he'd simply accepted this and was moving on with his life.
At least it was a nice day out, it wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold. There was a slight breeze that was stirring up the leaves on the ground. He could hear the leaves crunch as he moved underneath them but then, a noise came to his ears. It was that of a human, more importantly a girl which meant that he had to be near somebody's property. "Hello" He yelled back and hoped that the girl was near it really would be nice to know that he was "out of the woods" so to speak. He continued to walk without hearing an answer and almost fell flat on his face due to tripping over a hidden tree root. But somehow he managed to keep himself upright. It was then that a girl came into view and he blinked three times to make sure that it wasn't just a mirage and she was still there. This must be the girl that he'd heard call out. He hoped that she didn't mind the way that he looked, he was wearing a worn t shirt and his jeans had a few grass stains on them. He really hadn't been expecting to meet anybody.

[Stuck in a moment, and you can't get out of it]
Tzipporah's brow was not yet unfurrowed when Anthony parted the trees. For a moment she said nothing, simply astounded by the fact that another human being existed so far out into the woods. But she didn't recall ever seeing this boy anywhere. Although his jeans were grass stained, and his T shirt was slightly scraggly, somehow she drew an air of comfort from this apprehensive looking stranger. He was obviously lost, and he wore a look of bewilderment, crossed with relief that she hadn't simply seen he had crossed the property line and started shooting him. Actually, Tzipporah wasn't out in the woods to patrol the property line, and the only weapon she had was a swiss army knife, strapped tightly against her belt. She fingered it still taking in his sudden appearance and deciding the way in which to react to his arrival. Generally, her reaction would be rather listless. She did not appreciate people barging in on her quiet time in the woods, especially when she had been hearing them for a while, and it had made her quite restless and slightly nervous. But there was something about this strange boy. Something that plainly said somehow he was like her. So quiet, so withdrawn from other people around him.She swallowed, and finally spoke, though her tone was soft and scrutinizing.
"Hello.... lost?" There seemed no other appropriate thing to say, and her tone was not meant to be one of scorn, but rather her usual tone of thoughtfulness. The question was more of a statement. It was obvious this strange boy was lost. Very obvious. But where from. The small amount of curiosity for other people that dwelled deep inside Tzipporah's very being, now journeyed outward slightly. Suddenly she wanted to know more about this strange man who now stood before her, wide eyed, a trail of collapsed brush marking his path. She waited with as much politeness as she could summon out of an antisocial frame, for him to answer. It was so unlike her to try to make conversation, however awkward it may have been. Yet, there she was, speaking to a complete stranger who interested her profoundly. Almost as if he was a new plant species she had discovered growing around the house. She went through painstaking research to find out whether said plant was beneficiary or would harm the existing flora, then make every effort to either conserve, or demolish the offending plant. So after making this extended metaphor, she began to piece together what she already new about the stranger that continually stood, stalk still, as if he was a frightened deer, and wondered who exactly this person was. She had not realized that the inevitable smell of sheep had now filled her nostrils strongly, and when she noticed a fluffy head, poking through the brush, she said nothing, moving her lips, but continually unspeaking. Finally, she did speak. Her tone was blunt, but it was the only greeting Tzipporah knew how to make which was faintly welcoming. "Who exactly are you? she asked, her eyes dancing.
