Darcy made sure she looked both ways before crossing over the carpark, making sure she wasn't squashed by a car making a quick getaway from the Zoo. Its not as if they wouldn't of seen her though, Darcy was striving out to have fun today, and her outfit showed it. Her short, but even stride measured out the distance from where she was to where she needed to go at the grand gates at the front of the zoo. Glancing to her left, she made sure the shiny red car with a family of what seemed to be four wasn't going to zoom out at the same instant she planned to cross that path. Thankfully, it didn't, and she gave the driver a beaming smile. Darcy had an amazing smile, and when her lips parted to make way for the shining white pearls, it was pretty darn nice to look at. The driver of the car, a man, gave her a strained smile. Looking inside the car, she watched one baby scream its head off, and a toddler fighting an older sibling for a teddy bear. The man had obviously tried to do something nice for his children today, and they must have been acting up. Her thoughts of this were interrupted however, when a small pickup truck almost ran her over. The driver impatiently tooted his horn as she rushed across infront. "Yeah yeah, keep your pants on.." she muttered under her breathe as she rushed over infront of the car.
Finally she had reached her destination of the Zoo. Why she had chosen to come to the zoo? Really, she had no idea. It was more of a choice that had just happened, it wasn't planned out or anything. Who she would meet there would just have to happen. When reaching the gates, she opened her wallet and found the fee of money required to get in. Passing it over and placing it on the counter, she closed her wallet and walked through the gates. Where should she go first? She decided after much thinking, that she would go towards the tigers first. She loved the big orange and black cats, their sharp teeth and big feet. So off she went, in the direction of the Tigers enclosure.
Todays attire for Miss Darcy was not really simple, but not to much over the top, for Darcy anyway. She was wearing a light summery dress, in yellows, pinks and greens, and a pair of flat yellow and pink polka dottted keds. A thin white belt was strapped around her light waist, and a thin silver chain carrying a big silver heart was done up around her neck. Plenty of silver clangy braclets were hugging her wrist, and her white blonde hair was out, with a ribbon hairband barely visable in the puff of blonde. Her makeup was pretty out there, bright greens and yellows dusted across her eyelids, thin rims of black eyeliner around her blue orbs, and clear lipgloss grazed across her lips. Darcy could easily pass for seventeen, but she was only fifteen, almost sixteen.
Her trip continued towards the tiger enclosure, passing a few others on the way. She notcied a few people on her travels from around school, and a few said a brief "Hello" before they were on their way again. Sometimes, Darcy wished she had never moved here. But then she wouldn't have found all these awesome people she knew, and all of the hot guys, namely, Felix Lawson. xD In a slight daydream, she almost knocked a small child off her feet. Stopping instantly, she looked down at the small girl, who had seemingly lost her parents. Picking the little girl up, she laughed as the little girl offered her some of the very sticky lollypop in her mouth. "Lost your mummy, have you?" she asked the little girl. She gave a small nod, and Darcy looked around, trying to find a lady that seemed to be looking for a child. Spotting a red haired woman who was fratically searching and calling out a name, Darcy walked over to her. "Is she yours?" she asked. The womans face turned from worried to relieved in a second, smiled thankfully at Darcy. "She is. She just wandered off. Thanks so much." Darcy handed the little girl over, and smiled at the woman. "No problem." Now Darcy was finally almost at the tigers enclosure, she looked around. She had passed many animals, but so far, she only really wanted to see the tigers. So here she was, finally. Leaning on the rail which seperated the people from the tigers, she watched, amazed with the tigers.[/blockquote]

FINALLY I'M LETTING GO OF ALL MY DOWNER THOUGHTS IN NO TIME THERE'LL BE ONE LESS SAD ROBOT
It was a lovely day. Riley had woken up in an unusally happy mood that morning, uncommon for her lately. It had used to be that every day was a good one for Riley Addison, and she would wake up, bounce out of bed and be eager to start the day, unsure of what wonderous surprises it would drop at her doorstep. There had been a spring in her step and a liveliness in her eyes, all day, every day. Now, she had to drag herself out of bed and face another 24 hours. Her steps were monotone and her bright aqua eyes had faded to a dull denim color with stress and anxiety. How could someone do this to you? Turn you completely inside out, simply by not being there? It scared Riley, how different she was, since Ryan had disappeared. It alerted her to how much she had relied on him. Their frequent meetings, sometimes up to three, four times a day, had filled her with so much joy she felt she would burst and share it with all the world. But now, she was filled with an inexplicable sadness and she slouched about her dorm all day. She barely left her room except for the occasional meal - even her appetite had faded, which, to anyone who knew Riley, was absurd. She loved food and would never be forced to give it up. But now... because of him... everything had changed.
But today was different. She had woken up to sun streaming onto her watermelon quilt and was filled with her old hyperactivity and bounceability. It. Felt. GREAT. She was seized with an unexplainable urge to get out, to see the world. So she had promptly jumped out of bed, even before Athena, which was unusual, since because Riley slept so much lately, Athena was always out with Felix whenever she woke up. But no, today Riley had left her blonde-haired bestie sleeping peacefully in the bed next to hers and hopped in the shower. When she was lovely and squeaky clean, she had blowdried her hair and dressed. Now where to go? The zoo was a good option. For some reason, the zoo popped into her head. Never one to second guess, it was where she headed.
Today's attire was plain. A pair of skinny-leg jeans and a yellow-and-white shirt that had 'Southeast Christian Church Volleyball' printed on it. Don't ask why she had it. She had absolutely no idea where it was from, why it was in her closet, or how it had gotten there, but it was clean and at the front of her wardrobe, so on it went. Matched with a pair of yellow Converse and she was ready to go. The shirt and shoes matched her orange hair, which was fresh and clean and lovely.
The sun felt good on her back as she walked into the gates of the zoo. She was surrounded by small families, little kids and lovestruck teenagers. Swallowing hard, she looked away from the couples. Since it was the school holidays, kids were everywhere. She stepped up the [remarkably good-looking] cashier and paid for her all-day ticket, smiled at the adorably cute brunette boy and stuffed it in her pocket. What first? Spotting a kiosk, she pulled out two dollars from her pocket and bought a map. Unfolding it, she sat down on a bench and studied it, planning her day. She wanted to see the penguin feeding exhibit at 11.30, and possibly the monkey show at 12. Checking the watch strapped reliably on her wrist, she looked back to the map. It was 10.00. Where could she waste a little time until the penguin show? Scanning the options, her eyes alighted on the tigers. Smiling, she folded the map and stuffed it in her back pocket, standing up and heading to her destination.
She was lost. Poo and twinkletoes. She was about to get out the map again when she saw a wooden sign with 'TIGERS' and an arrow in the direction of the exhibit. Sheepishly she followed it. Reaching the tiger enclosure, she entered it and was pleased to see it was practically empty, with the exception of a blonde girl in a really cute outfit facing the glass wall that overlooked the habitat with the tigers prowling around inside it. If there was one thing Ri couldn't stand, it was a crowded exhibit. Walking up to the rail, she grasped it with both hands. She glanced at the blonde girl and smiled warmly before turning her eyes to the tigeress taking a nap in the sun.
OOC. DONE. =D Hope it's not too long.
