Fawn Sinclair was pacing about her two bedroom apartment trying to think of something to do. She had only been in Lakeland for a few days so she didnt really have any friends to hang out with. Though it suprised her that she didn't have anyfriends yet, or a boyfriend. Fawn usually made friends and boyfriends very quickly. She also didn't know what the town had to do, what places it had to go to. ~Well, I just need to go out and see what this town has and meet some people.~ She thought as she walked over to her closet. It took her a few minutes to pick out what she wanted to wear. But she eventually picked a simple but cute black halter top and tight blue jeans to wear. She then went into her bathroom to change and straighten out her long blonde hair.
A little while later, after she had dressed and done her hair, Fawn climbed into her red corvette and started to drive around town, looking for some place interesting to go. She passed by the mall and movie theater and alot of other places but she was wanting to find something more like a club or a bar. Fawn didn't feel like just sitting in a movie theater or walking around the mall tonight. She felt more like in party mode tonight. But then again when was she night. Fawn was definately the party type and hates being bored. Soon to her delight she came in view of the Red Sunset. She pulled into the parking lot and almost jumped from her car, excited that she had finally found a club, or at least she was sure it was.
As she came closer to the door she was positive it was a club because she could here the loud music even from outside. She flashed her fake ID, being only seventeen, and walked into the club. A smile came across her face as she walked in and was met by the blast of loud music and a ton of people dancing on the floor. But she didn't want to dance just yet, maybe get a few drinks in her first. Even though she was only seventeen she had made the ID say she was twenty one and most people could believe that she was that age because of how she looked. So she walked to the bar, giving an occasion smile and wink at some boy who happened to be staring at her. And why would they not stare at her. She was hot with her baby blue eyes, long blond hair and tight jeans.
She sat down on a barstool and ordered a beer, maybe she would try something stronger later but for now she just waited to see how the night was going to play out. She turned her back to the bar and leaned against it. Blue eyes searched through the crowd of dancers, just watching everyone dance and looking out for hot guys.So what did she want to night? Just to have fun?Maybe find a hot guys to dance with or kiss up on, or maybe a little more? Or maybe just meet someone to talk to and make a friend? Fawn wasn't quite sure what she wanted to happen tonight but she was ready for anything. But for now she just watched everyone dancing on the floor. She would most definately get up and dance later but for now she just watched and tapped her foot to the beat of the song.

Brian sat on his bed, looking around. There was really nothing to do. He just got here from Nebraska, but he wished he wasn't here at all. He wished he was still in Australia, where he was from. He hadn't unpacked anything. The phone was sitting right next to him on the bed, he was giving it the stare-down now, waiting for his mom to call, changing her mind about everything.
Twenty minutes had passed. Clearly, she wasn't going to bring him back home. He stood up and looked down at his outfit, jean shorts and a brown shirt with A&F plastered across the chest. He shrugged, and walked out the door of his dorm. The 15 year-old pulled out his wallet, the fake ID came out soon after. It stated he was 7 years older then he was. Back in Omaha, this pass always worked. They would question his height, but he would just answer "I'm short, what's your problem."
Everyone always thought he looked older then he was, he was mature too, although living in America took away some of his accent and maturity. He didn't use slang words, he said "Pardon?", while most American boys would say "What?" He walked down the street, looking everywhere, for something to do, most likely a club. He walked up to "The Sunset", the man standing by the door nodded at him, his didn't even half show his fake ID.
The sound of music blasted him as he walked in. He was new here and was looking for someone to hang out with, possibly a girl. He usually always has a girlfriend, but it was his first day, and he had been in his dorm for the whole time. He came up to the bar and spotted a girl sitting there alone. He sat down next to her, not saying anything, or even looking her way, but not for long.

Fawn was becoming bored just sitting at the bar. She had been looking at all the hot guys and giving them smiles but none had come up to her yet or even shone much interest. And Fawn did not usually make the first move unless she was really interested. Which so far she really didn't see anyone who caught her eye. ~Ok either all guys in this club are taken or there are just having a night out with the boys.~ She was about to get up and dance alone but just then a boy walked into the club that caught her attention. As he walked towards her her blue eyes met his for a moment and she flashed him a quick smile.
But much to her surprise he didn't smile back and he didn't even look in her direction. Now this was a strange night for Fawn. No guys had come up and even said hi to her or asked her her number or offered to buy a drink or at least given her a smile back. And now this boy seemed to almost walked right up to her and had not done anything yet. Instead he came up and sat next to her and still did nothing. But Fawn doubted that he would just sit there next to her without eventually saying something.
Fawn also did not say anything to the boy, but she did give him a quick look. ~He's not to bad looking~ Fawn thought to herself. And she still stayed silent. Fawn was not one to speak first or make the first move. Yes, she did smile at boys but she doesn't count that as a first move. So she looked way from the boy sitting by her and watched everyone out on the dance floor. (bleh, terrible)

Brian sighed at the club. Pretty boring, he had to admit. He didn't go clubbing in Australia, he left when he was twelve. He began to get bored, very quickly, and the girl hadn't said anything. He looked at her and smiled. What was the point of waiting, she clearly wasn't going to say anything.
"Hey." He said in his accent, with a quick nod. 'Not bad.' He thought. She was good looking, he could give her that. This would at least keep him occupied for a moment if she wasn't interested. The club was full of drunk kids, people older then him, but not by much, he didn't really drink, he usually only bought one.
The stool he was sitting on was wobbly, and he it bothered him. When his weight shifted, it moved back and forth, but it was silent, or the music was too loud, no one could hear it. He was one who became distracted easily, and this could do it.
He decided to ignore it, at least for a while. He leaned forward onto his knees, and it shifted with him. "This club isn't so great, not what I expected." He sighed. Hopefully she had been here awhile, and knew some great places to go. Maybe they would leave together.

(sorry its taking me so long to reply. Kinda had a crazy day)
Fawn sighed softly as she leaned back against the bar and ran a hand through her long blond hair.. She was becoming increasingly bored by the moment. It just seemed to be one of those boring days. Usually she would have fun at clubs and bars but today it just seemed so boring. Maybe because back home she would have come with a ton of her friends and they would have all partied together. For a moment she thought about all the crazy times her and her old friends have had going partying. Maybe once she met more friends here they could all come together and have a good time.
She was brought back from her thoughts as she saw the boy turn to look and smile at her. ~Finally.~ She thought as she smiled back. When he spoke she thought she heard some kind of accent but she wasn't sure yet. After all he had only said on word. "Hey." Well, this one didn't seem much for conversation. But then again Fawn wasn't helping with that at all. She was surprised though that he hadn't ask her name or number yet. ~Geez Fawn your impatient today.~ She thought to herself as she turned to look once more at the dancing crowd in the club. For some reason she just didn't quite feel up to dancing today which was a very strange thing for her. Usually she loved to dance, especially dirty dancing.
She turned to look once more at the boy though when he shifted back and forth a few times on his barstool. Even in all the noise and excitement in the club she still saw that small movement from the corner of her eye. A soft short laugh escaped her lips, as she turned on her barstool to face him a little more and leaned closer to him. "You're easily distracted aren't you." She said, the tone of laughter audible in her voice. Her blue eyes shone with mischief for she was very good at distracting people. This boy might be fun to hang around with after all. She leaned back as he spoke once more. "Yeah, I thought it would be more fun here, but I guess I was wrong. I drove around a little before I came here but I didn't see much else to do." She paused in her speech for a moment as if she was thinking of what to say next. Once more she leaned a little closer to him. "You want to come with me and see if we can find something else to do. Something a little more interesting?"

Brian looked up at the girl, she was pretty, very pretty, indeed. He leaned back, the barstool squeaking once again. He let out a 'humph' this would drive him crazy all night. He looked back up, she hadn't said anything back yet, seemed to him that she wasn't going to talk. The time was only around 6, or that's what his watched said, he couldn't remember if he had changed it since he'd moved here or not. It wasn't that important. All that mattered was that it was even dark yet, which meant Brian had time to waste.
He snapped back into reality as the girl leaned closer to him, she had a nice smile. What she said, "You're easily distracted aren't you." couldn't function in his head, was she flirting with him? The Australian teenager just smiled and shrugged. "I suppose I am." He said, making it sound like he had just figured that out. It was true, anything could distract him, often times, it was girls. Anyone could, if they tried hard enough, which wasn't very hard.
It was odd, that they both had the same thoughts about this club. "I was just bored, and decided to look for something to do, my wanders brought me here." In his mind, he finished 'to meet a pretty girl like you.' So cheesy, but he didn't say it, she didn't hear it, so what? She leaned closer to him again, he nodded. He stood up, finally, he was off of that torturous chair.
He began to walk out of the club, that was probably the last time he would be there. When he was out, and you couldn't hear the music as loud anymore, he looked at her. "Well, I'm Brian." He said, offering his hand for her to take. "What's your name?" Brian asked, flashing a smile towards her.

Fawn reached into her purse to pull out her cell phone. She looked at the screen and was surprised to see that it was only 6:30. It seemed that she had been here alot longer but it truth it wasn't even close to dark outside. She turned to look at the boy when he spoke and once again flashed her brilliant smile. This could turn out to be a fun night. Fawn was very good at distracting boys and she didn't think that this one would be to hard to distract.
Fawn placed a hand on the boy's arm and spoke to him. "Come on, let's find something alittle more interesting to do." She stood up and followed him out of the club, staying close so that every one would know she was with him. When he told her his name and offered his hand, she took his hand gently and spoke. "I'm Fawn Sinclair." She smiled back at him and thought that he had a very handsome smile. "So where do you want to go?" (sorry for bad post, muse gone and not feeling good)

Brian watched her pull out her cell phone. He was surprised by the time too. Usually, you would say, 'Time flies when your having fun.' But he wasn't really having fun right now, so that saying was a lie right now. The truth, was that it was really boring so far, but maybe it would become more fun with someone. So far, this city was full of places where you couldn't go alone, well you could, but it would be boring, sort of like the club. Like the movies, that wouldn't be very fun to go alone, even though you shouldn't talk, it would be weird going alone. He looked at her smile, she had a very beautiful smile. She might turn this boring night around, you never know.
While they were walking out, he noticed she was really close, he liked that, most girls never walked close to him, they usually stood far back. Maybe because most people knew him in Nebraska, he wasn't really someone most people wanted to hang around with. He usually had a different girlfriend every week. Although that wasn't a good excuse not to stand by him. Maybe this girl would be different, maybe he would stay with her for while, but you never know. If she kept him distracted, she could stay, but most of the time, he just became bored. He liked her idea, of finding something else to do, something for interesting. She was smart, at least in that category, but anyone could think of that.
Fawn, that was an interesting name, unlike his. Brian, you never heard that name anywhere. He let go of her hand and smiled. "I love your name, its beautiful, like you." He said with a smile. He hadn't smiled a lot like he normally did. Probably because his mother forced him to go to this boarding school. They would probably let Aaron choose which school he would go to. He didn't understand why they sent him here, the other school was closer. But after he thought about it for awhile, he liked this idea better, he wouldn't have to see them until Christmas, and maybe he could convince them to let him stay. He also had to go back for his birthday, but he knew he was getting a car, in that case, he was fine with that. Where did he want to go? "I don't know, I'm new here, this is my first day."

Fawn's smile widened as Brian complimented on her name. "Thank you, I know I'm beautiful." She tossed her hair over her shoulders and then laughed to show that she really wasn't that conseded and that she was just joking. But she loved her name because it was very unique. So far in all of her seventeen years she had never heard of anyone else having the same name. The only thing she hated was that when she had gone on vacation with her parents, no matter where they went, she could never find her name on those souvinears that had some peoples names on them. Fawn looked at Brian and waited for his reply.
She was a bit surprised to hear that it was Brian's first day here to. There seemed to be alot of new people coming in. "It's my first day to." Fawn paused for a moment remembering all the places she had passed while coming down to the club. "Well, I saw a movie theatre on the way over here and a few places to go eat. But if you don't want to go there I bet there is a mall some place."~ Or there's always my place or your place.~ But Fawn didn't think that he would want to do anything like that. But then again maybe he would later. Fawn herself wasn't quite sure whether she was really up to that tonight or not. But who knew what the day would bring?

Brian didn't like his name that much. Everywhere you went, there was a Brian. It was confusing, if you walked around, you could hear someone else say 'Brian', and they weren't talking to you. After awhile, he learned to ignore people who said his name, most of the time they weren't talking to him. He rolled his eyes at her joke, then smiled and shook his head. "You are so humble." He said with a smirk. He knew she was joking. He thought about the names of his family members, Krstian and Aaron. His mother was horrible at picking names. Krstian was OK, but it sounded like a lot of other names. If you thought about it, people in Australia never had unique names. Most people he knew from there were named, Steve, Joe, and names like that.
He thought it was cool that it was both of their first day. But, in some ways it wasn't so great, they didn't know what to do. All the places she listed were places he had seen. He had also seen a zoo, but that was boring. He didn't really like looking at animals in captivity, he liked the outback. When he is older, he is going to move back to Australia. But, maybe he wouldn't. He crossed his arms, and thought about what they could do. Maybe there was a park around here they could go to, and just walk around. His legs still kind of bothered him from the plane flight. He hated planes, they gave him headaches. He was also active, so he liked to move around a lot, sitting on a plane for awhile really bothered him.
He looked at her and dropped his hands into his pockets. "I don't know," He said, with a sigh. "Should we just walk around, get to know the place a bit?" His plane flight wasn't so long, only about an hour, or half an hour, he didn't check his watch before he left. He wanted to get to know the place, maybe even get to know Fawn. What she liked to do. He liked girls who weren't afraid to get dirty, playing in the sand, maybe playing sand volleyball. It was fun diving for it, even if you didn't need to. He looked into her blue eyes and waited for her to respond.
