When one of his favorite songs come on anywhere, Bryce just can't help himself and goes nuts. Today, he was already hyper and his friends weren't too interested to know what he'd do if some song comes on that he's totally obsessed with, I need music the teenager said to himself as he reached into his pocket and took out his iPod. Tonight was the big basketball game against East High and Bryce's buds new that he was really pumped up.
Putting his ear pieces on, Bryce decided to play 'Run it' by Chris Brown. He knew all his friends were annoying by Hip Hop, but that didn't really stop him from listening to his favorite song. Just as the music came on, Bryce started to think about tonight's game. East High didn't have the worse players...not the best ones either. Sure, they were tall and everything, but Bryce knew that they had no power over him, he was twice as good as those guys.
He just didn't like the fact that they were bigger, I'm gonna rule the court tonight, ya'll. No way is East High bringing me down. His friends knew it was true, but when Bryce said it continiously, they started to doubt it. Haven't you ever had a time when you're so excited and confident about something and then about two minutes later, you're worried...like big time? If not, then nevermind. If you get me, then you know how Bryce's feeling right now, though hes strong enough to not show it.
Bryce started walking backwards ahead of his friends and eventually started moonwalking. He didn't really care where he was going, not really thinking what would happen if he bumped into some kid. That'd be aweful if he did; although, it didn't really seem to be a great deal if you think about bumping into a tall person. Bryce backed up to some large person. Kay, so maybe I spoke too soon. Turning around to see who it was, Bryce found it to be the captain of the basketball team at East High, John BoltonOh boy Bryce mumbled as he looked up at the guy who stood at least a foot taller than Bryce, himself.
Speak of the devil One of Bryce's friends whispered as John looked straight back down at Bryce. Sure, Bryce wasn't afraid of him, but he just wished he was a little shorter, cuz his height bugged him, Heyyyyy Johnny. What's crackin', Homey G? Hey, Good Luck, tonight For a second or so, there was complete silence and Bryce felt as though even the people in the park were hushed. After a moment or so, John barked back, Wish I could say the same to you he slammed his arm against Bryce's and passed on by.
Oh, it's on Bryce watched as Bolton walked off, while his friends comforted him. Eventually, his friends began to leave one by one until he was all alone at the park. He liked coming to the park, though he didn't come often. It was a nice place to go whenever he feels like being alone. And most of his friends that he's made were at the park. Guess everyone from Lakeland goes to the park as well.
