But deep down I'm still the same man
Warren's not the best looker there is but he's still gentleman looking. He's got a charismatic smile and charming green eyes that can make the girls and boys melt. He slim in figure and wears clothes that fit well. His hair is of a medium length, and is a sleek and blonde. His fringe falls into his eyes in an appealing way, as though a warning to say come close but not too close. With Warren it's more about what's on the inside than outside. He has a finely shaped face, unique but still manages to look perfect somehow. His skin tone is fairly tanned which matches the rest of his face such as his nose and mouth. Warren has nice teeth, he has always looked after them well; When he smiles, it's a killer.
I'll tell you a story, so listen carefully
Seventeen years of a perfect, fantasy like life. Isn’t that what everybody wants? No troubles, a big happy family and a huge self esteem? Well, you gotta start somewhere. Warren Lai, ever since he was a young child, has certainly not been the central point of a fairytale, but infact has been a side character, one that you read about once in a whole 120 paged story, and is easily forgotten about. He grew up with his, at the time, married parents who gave him everything he asked for. He was a spoiled child up until the age of ten, when his parents grew agitated and divorced. It seems like a bad age for them to divorce, leaving poor Warren with no sense of direction. He stopped being a spoilt, precious child and became quiet and barely noticeable.
His life wasn’t ideal then. He became easily intimidated and difficult to please. His past consisted of bullying and insults, and when he got to the age of fifteen, he couldn’t take it anymore. He turned into a man. A handsome, up for anything kind of man. Even though not many do, he had matured and looked to the better side of life. He stood his ground and everything stopped, it went back to the way it used to be, just minus his parents marriage. Warren actually missed some of his education at fifteen. He stopped going to school because his mother fell ill with cancer, and even though she has pulled through it now, he’s always wary and has a gigantic fear of disease. He’s scared he will lose someone again.
There’s something about Warren that he would never reveal to anybody, not even his own mother. He loves to dance. He’s actually good at it too, but he doesn’t want people to know about it. He dances secretly to himself, infront of the full length mirror in his bedroom. It had been like that since he was around thirteen, he was always dancing to calm himself down and relieve the stress. Well it beat violence after all. He had taught himself numerous styles of dance like break beat and hiphop; There were many more but these were the ones he favoured the most.
“Haven’t you grown Warren?”
That’s what his father said to him the last time he saw him. He hadn’t seen him for years, and he missed the memories. It had only been a short visit, his mother was stubborn and wouldn’t allow him very long, but it was a visit none the less. They took a short walk down the path and some thing his father said really influenced him. One phrase in particular caught him by the heart. “One life. One chance. Two risks. You either mess up or you don’t.” But why did that sentence catch Warren more than anything else? He was scared to mess up like his father.
(( I'll add more to this as I roleplay him more! ))
