Personality
Gen is a sweet girl, that is what her friends say about her. Everytime someone asks about her, it's the same answer. Nothing more and nothing else. She is just plain sweet. To her friends, of course.
If there is something that characterises her is her loyalty. Gen will never betray her friends, no matter what happens. She is also very good at keeping secrets for other people. When her friends have problems, Gen will be the first one trying to solve them and comforting her friends. Friends are first in her life. Her own problems are kept a secret since she believes that telling her friends about them would make them get unhappy and that would make her a bad friend.
Around strangers, Gen is quite shy. Living under a Catholic household and by her grandparents, she believes that girls are meant to be quiet and to wait for their prince charming to find them by themselves. Her thoughts of boys have always limited and she blushes real easily when a guy smiles at her. Gen believes that her appearance is not the best one around. Never having a boyfriend makes her considers herself ugly and that there are other girls prettier than her.
Her big heart has always been a thing held against herself. It is her weak point and she can't see anyone else suffering. Her grandparents' house has been filled throughout the years by animals Gen has found and that she believes can't take care of themselves. The only animal she doesn't like is cats since one of those animals once bit her on the stomach when she was little.
Appearance
Gen is a fifteen year old girl standing five feet two inches and weighing one hundred and fifteen pounds. Gen's hair is dirty blond and falls down to her shoulders. It is usually kept loose but sometimes she picks it up in a pony tail, depending on what she has to do. Her green eyes still hold the innocence of a little girl since Gen is very naive. A smile is always on her face whether or not she is truly happy. There is a scar on her stomach from where a cat bit her when she was five years old though it is almost gone. Her skin is almost pale because of her dislike to be in the sun and getting nasty freckles on her body.
Her clothings is pretty much dresses only, since her grandmother believes that pants are meant for men only. Sometimes Gen can persuade her grandmother to let her wear pants, but the occasion is very rare. Her grandfather secretly takes her out shopping and buys her everything she wants. Pants, tshirts, polo shirts, and skirts are hidden on the back of her closet.
History:
[Before]
Samuel and Rochelle Mont knew from the start that their marriage was perfect. Since Samuel's life had been planned before he was even born, both teenagers had their futures already secured. They got married right after getting out of high school and started their new live together. The first year was spent traveling around the world, and they both knew that their lives couldn't get better. The second year, Rochelle tried getting pregnant but failed. She was almost sure that there was no way she was going to be able to get pregnant.
[Her birth]
Twenty year old Rochelle gave birth to Gen Mont, a healthy girl with big green eyes. Both of her parents gave her all the love they could give her and even more. Her grandparents, Samuel's parents, moved to the same city and helped them take care of Gen for five long years. Throughout those years, the girl was spoiled and given everything she wanted. She was the envy of the neighborhood because of her expensive toys and amazing birthday parties. But everything changed when she turned five.
[Though your dead and gone believe me, your memory will carry on]
A week after Gen turend five, her mother got in a car accident. While driving to pick up Gen from school, a truck collided against the car and killed Rochelle almost immediately. The little girl can still remember the two hours waiting for her mommy with a lunch bag and backpack on her hands. Samuel, after being in the hospital until Rochelle died, went for Gen but didn't answer her question about why her mommy hadn't gone for her. The girl didn't realize that her mommy was never going to take her to school again.
Samuel couldn't face the fact that the love of his life was gone. He buried himself in work but it was not long before alcohol tempted him. After working, he would go to bars and drink until late hours of the night. Gen would stay home alone until her grandfather got out of his own job and took her to their own house. After two years of the little girl staying alone at her father's house, her grandparents decided to take her into their full care. Her father couldn't really argue with it since he knew just how wrong his life had turned out to be. Gen and her grandparents moved her into their own house and the girl never really saw her father again.
[Awake and unafraid]
The girl's life continued with no more unfortunate events going on. She was dragged to charity events by her grandmother, was always on church activities since her grandmother was the one organizing them, and was home schooled by no other than her grandmother. Not having daughters of her own, Alice Mont decided to mold her granddaughter as a copy of herself. The girl was taught everything Alice had been taught when she was little. Gen's grandfather finally had enough of his wife's ideas and signed Gen up on the local high school. What he didn't know was that Gen was not ready to face the drama and ways of lives the teenagers in town had.
