Jessica grinned once more when the first message popped up. She read it once more to get in the fact that he was 21. Dang, 4 years older. That seemed like a lot at the moment, but he seemed like a nice guy atleast. She paused for a moment then began typing.
JessEEKa966: Wow. Ok then. 4 years older. Just promise me you won't like sneak over to my house and kidnap me alright???
She once more hit enter and hoped that reply at least sounded somewhat funny. Ok, on to next message. She laughed at the sight of the first question and read the second one while laughing. She then began once more another anwser.
JessEEKa966: No, I haven't been stalking him. I'd more likely stalk Billie Joe Armstrong and David Beckham. And also, I do know who you are. Jake Erickson, Brenden Erickson's older brother. Correct?
JessEEKa966: NOw, do you know who I am??

He read her reaction and was glad that she hadn't started to freak out or something. Since he knew that he wasn't about to fall asleep right now anyway, even though it was eleven thirty at night. Once again he tired not to laugh about what she said about sneaking over to her house and kidnapping her. He'd never do that and wouldn't even think about doing something so stupid.
&&Me: Trust me, I'm not about to kidnap you it wouldn't be very good for my reputation. Besides, trying to get into a locked up house is hard work.
It was good to hear that she wasn't one of the girls stalking Brenden, if he did find one of those girls he'd give them a piece of his mind though. Besides, Brenden wasn't a very interesting person to stalk since he went to the same places all the time and was usually with the same people. At least she knew who he was though, that was a plus but he didn't know who she was.
&&Me: Yes, that is who I am and as long as you don't start comparing him and me it'll be alright. And..I don't know who you are should I? And now onto my other question, how long have you lived here?

Jessica read the type on her moniter and yawned. She glanced up at the tv as The COlbert Report was on at that moment. With a shrug she resumed typing.
JessEEKa966: Good. I DO NOT want to be kidnapped. JessEEKa966: Okay Yay!!! I'm right! And I won't compare you two, I barely know him that much. JessEEKa966:<---- There's one hint on who I am. JessEEKa966: I've lived here for 2 years. You?

He heard footsteps outside of his door and then listened for any sound other than that but he didn't hear any. More then likely Brenden was up for some reason or another. Just as long as he didn't end up going outside, since he had a feeling that it was going to rain and knowing Brenden he'd go outside without a jacket on.
&&Me: -gasp- you don't know Brenden that much? I thought that he was the guy that all the girls wanted and fought over who was going to talk to him. Of course..never mind.
He was glad that he had caught himself before he mentioned a few things about his younger brother that were not known by other people. Actually they were theories about why he didn't really date anybody seriously and they all lead back to one person.
&&Me: Ok, well that hint helps a lot. Of course there are a lot of Jessica's that go to LHS you know. But I've lived here my whole life and if you moved here two years ago you might have known Brenden's best friend, Mike before he died.
He typed without even thinking and then hit the enter button. He then read what he had written and instantly realized what he'd just done.
&&Me: Oh shoot, forget I mentioned Mike alright?
There actually was something going around between a few people about something the school was going to do and so far only a few people knew about it. His dad had found out and then told him and he'd been under specific orders not to tell Brenden. Of course he knew why that was because if Brenden found out about what the school was thinking about doing he'd start crying. Of course, it wouldn't be because of a bad thing.

Jessica rolled her eyes at the first message. She wasn't one of those girls. She didn't go crazy at the sight of a guy and act desperately to get his number. Blech. She found that pathetic. She was more the friendly person who met a guy and became friends with him first before going out. She couldn't really take all the desperate people who dressed in all their little Abercrombie and Hollister crap. She preferred funky tshirts from the internet, stuff from Old Navy and Gap, and anykind of jeans. Sometimes she shopped at Hot Topic but it wasn't her favorite place. Anyway, back to the messages.
JessEEKa966: I guess I'm different than all those girl. Jessica sent her first message and kept reading. After the first half of the second message she began to type but as soon as she saw the rest and the third message she stopped. Unsure of what to write (if she should respond to it) She paused and hoped another message would come.

Well, that was good to hear too but now he was thinking about what he had sent before. She hadn't sent anything back about what he had written before of course he had probably given her the impression that he didn't want to hear about it. But he could remember the night that everything had happened and when his parents had told Brenden what had happened to his best friend. Brenden had simply lost it and he could remember how his little brother had literally ran over to him and buried his face into his shoulder. He could still feel his shoulders shaking as the sobs came from him.
&&Me: Yeah, well that's good too since if you're different then most girls perhaps you'll be a better listener with what I'm about to type.
He typed and then hit the enter button and then looked over at the picture from about ten years ago. It was of Brenden asleep on him and he looked so different then he did now. "I'm sorry I have to tell another person about this." He whispered, yet he knew that he was just talking to himself. But he knew that Brenden didn't like people finding out what had happened but he'd been the one who mentioned it.
&&Me: In November of Brenden's sophomore year, his best friend who I already mentioned was involved in a car accident. He swerved to avoid a deer, hit a patch of black ice and then ended up meeting a tree in the end. There's more but it's too depressing.
He then hit the enter button again before leaning back against the chair again and closing his eyes. He wasn't going to fall asleep he just didn't want to sit there reading what he wrote over and over again.

Jessica sat up and looked atn her computer screen. She read the new messages and sat there quietly, just processing what had came through. The thing that surprised her most was the fact that he revealed this stuff to her, who he just met online. With a deep breath, she began to type.
JessEEKa966: Wow, I'm really sorry. That sort of thing shouldn't ever happen to anyone and anyone who knows them. But all things happen for a reason. My friend's dad died when she was young and she learned how to stand up for her self and she learned to savor every moment with someone because they could be gone every minute. Also, when my parents split up I was furius, upset, sad, and mad. But then some good things came out of it. I realized that it was better with them seperated becuase no one fought and argued anymore, we weren't scared of something even worse coming out. Even if it hasn't happened yet, something good will come out of it. It might sound cheesy, but she knew it really wasn't. She wrote what she thought, and her first thought came to Sam. She wasn't with Sam when her dad died but she heard the whole story from Sam and Sam's mom. Also, she thought about when her parents seperated. With a deep breath, she hit Enter and continued watching the screen.

He heard the sound that indicated that he had a new message but he wasn't so sure if he should read what she had written or not. Of course, he knew that it wouldn't be anything bad but it felt like he was betraying Brenden by talking about Mike so openly. It was then that he opened his eyes and read what she had written. He'd been trying to tell Brenden for almost two years that things happened for a reason but he'd always ended up asking him what the reason was and that, he couldn't answer. It wasn't fair for Anthony either, losing his older brother and being forced to be home schooled after that.
&&Me: Trust me, I've been trying to tell Brenden that things happen for a reason but it's hard to do when he looks at you and asks what that reason is. But like I said before, you probably knew Mike before he..well you know.
Now he felt like Brenden, some days he was surprised that Brenden could even say the word died. He knew that his younger sibling wasn't over the death of his best friend and wasn't even close to being over it. He felt sorry for him and that was why he didn't bother him about it and tried to do almost anything to help him when it came to something dealing with Mike. He wondered how Brenden would react if the school actually went through with their plan. He knew that they probably would but in a way he knew that it would be a really odd day the day that somebody (which would probably be him since he was the one who wanted to tell Brenden) told Brenden what the school was doing and the day that it actually happened.

Jessica glanced at the moniter and read that post. She understood the whole thing where you ask what good will come out of it. She did the same to her friends when they tried to tell her that when her parents split up. She sighed and began to type.
((OOC: Okay, do you want Jessica to have known Mike or not? Cause Im not sure soo.... would like an anwser. Thanxies!!! Adios))

Yeah, I suppose that I would help an idea that I've been working up if she had known him. Even if it was just because they would have had some of the same classes together. But, I have to shower now so hasta luego.

((Ok. Just checking.))
Jessica glanced at the moniter and read that post. She understood the whole thing where you ask what good will come out of it. She did the same to her friends when they tried to tell her that when her parents split up. She sighed and began to type. She then paused and reread his sentence. Her mind flashed back to a couple of years ago. suddenly she stopped and leaned back. She grew quiet all of a sudden and just sat there. For several minutes she was like that. Just reliving old memories in her mind. Slowly she leaned forward and gulped. She deleted her other message and began a new one. Slowly her fingers began to hit the keys and created a short message. JessEEKa966: Wait- I did know him She sat there for a few more seconds. Just thinking. She hadn't known him that well, he was just in one of her classes but still. She had known him. Silently she hit the enter button.

He read her message and was rather surprised that she did know him. Of course Mike had been part of the popular group, along with Brenden and Jordan. Still, he knew that she probably had just been in one of the classes that he was in since he'd never heard the name Jessica come up from any of the three. Or if it had it hadn't really came up that often. He stared at her response for a few more moments before he decided that he had better type something before he fell asleep.
&&Me: Really, well I guess that I didn't have to explain everything to you then since you've probably heard about it a lot.
He knew that the message was a little on the short side since she had just given his a very valuable piece of information but he just couldn't talk about Mike anymore. He'd been rather close to him too and had known him for as long as Brenden had, and he'd been in the same rank as Brenden had been in. He felt really bad for Mike's younger brother who was forced into being home schooled after the death of his oldest, and only other sibling. Of course, that had all changed and he'd heard that Anthony's parents had finally allowed him to go back to a normal school.
&&Me: So, I guess that you already know that his younger brother is coming back to school when it starts then. Since (as you probably already know) his parents forced him into being home schooled.

Jessica leaned back once more and just kept thinking. Suddenly a ding made her snap out of thoughts and she glanced at the two new messages. She began to type once more.
JessEEKa966: Yeah, now that I try to think of it I do knida remember that. Yeah. So it was short and pathetic. She didn't really mind now. She had just realized something she had ignored and forgotten about earlier. And dang, remembering it had shocked her.She hit enter and silently stroked Jamba, who was now fast asleep.

Once again he was brought back to past memories about things. Like how he'd been up late one night and answered the door and found Anthony standing there literally begging to see Brenden. He had let him in but he had only gotten a few yards into the door before Anthony just broke down. So, he'd ended up standing there as Anthony cried on him this had went on for about ten minutes before he'd finally calmed down enough for him to go and wake Brenden up. After that he'd went to bed and then came down the next morning to find Anthony fast asleep curled up next to Brenden. Somehow they'd both managed to fit onto the couch.
&&Me: Yeah, you'd probably remember how shocked everybody was after they heard what had happened.
Once again the image of Brenden just laying in his bed crying came into his head. He'd tried to talk to him and convince him to get out of bed but he'd just coldly replied back that there was no use to now. That was the first time that he'd heard that coldness in Brenden's voice and he hadn't heard it since then. The next time that he had tried to talk to him he'd been a little better and he'd convinced him to get up and go downstairs.
&&Me: But, I think that we'd better get off of that subject. Since it's way too depressing.
