Laughing, maybe running away would be fun, and if she had to explain it to the devil himself, she would just say she wanted to see her father. It wouldn't be any lie at all. "True, but you also need money" she added. One she didn't have any money, nor did she have a way to get all the way to Washington. Maybe if she just made a simple call, they would come visit her and her step father not knowing about it. That was also a plan, "Then again, if they did have posters everywhere, my mom would be too heartbroken." she added. Okay so she'd feel bad for her mom and want to come home, just to her, not to the ass whole she calls step dad. Shrugging and pouring more alcohol into the glasses, Kodi looked once more over to Eden and then to the clock. Okay so she knew it was late, but it didn't feel that late, like you've just worked maybe eight hours late. After getting so sick of looking at the alcohol, Kodi did decide to take that break, but inside of the club. She didn't want to just leave Eden to do this by himself, plus if they just sat around, maybe more people would leave?. It was worth a shot, a shot that kodi wasn't going to Waste. Leaning her back against the counter and pretty much saying forget it to the people, this night was going to be late indeed.
"Maybe if we find someone less desperate and hasn't been drinking, they could take our place?" she said, in a way joking. Actually she wasn't about to just trust anyone back here, and she wasn't even a bartender. Getting very annoyed, kodi really wanted to just leave and find Rob, so he can get back to his own job. Kodi and Eden was nice enough to come and help him out, and what does he do, leave them to do it by themselves. Letting another sigh coming through her lips and looking once more at the clock, she didn't even know what time she had come in there to just have a good time, but that good time was changed. "then i guess there is something wrong with me" she said laughing. A small yawn coming upon her lips, she didn't want anyone know how tired she was, but this she was going to show. "give me a blanket and a pillow, i could probably sleep here" she added. Okay it wouldn't be a good thing, since well broken glass and maybe drunk people jumping over the counters, but it was somewhere atleast to stay.

So Eden wasn't the only one who didn't have money around here. He was old enough to work, he had been for four years or so, but he had never had time to actually work. Not even during the summer, when he's always traveling and doing road trips with his good friends. And anyways, even if he DID find a bit of time to work, there weren't any good places that would take him. All the places around town were kind of boring, and the ones that seemed remotely fun stood for the stuff that he didn't. For example, working at Burger Buddy would be fun. They had the cool hats that you wear as a uniform, and sometimes people even got to serve people in their cars using roller blades like back in the sixties. Don't ask me how, but somehow the idea of that made Eden happy, but of course there was one problem. He was a vegitarian, always had been and pretty much always would be. Working in a company that got paid for feeding dead animals to the customers was just out of the question. So you see Eden's delima, it was a sort of large one at that. "Well if you really want money, you can put on a fantastic dress and visit my parents. I'm sure they'd love you, and they give money to all the 'good girls' who visit my house. Usually my grandpa finds them and they give him their sob story. He's kind of a big softie, you see." Eden replied, mopping up a bit of puke. Uck, he didn't need THAT at the moment. "Next time, aim for the toilet buddy." Eden called after the man who was beginning to puke on one of the tables. SICK! {No pun intended} Even on Eden's standards, and he was a guy who rarely got squeemish. "You don't want to make your mum heartbroken of course." Eden said, hoping that he didn't sound sarcastic. He was being serious, he admired mum's for being all that they were. Even the worst mums wouldn't do some things, and would even listen to their kids when they said something truely of importance. Of course, just because Eden respected the mums doesn't mean for .04 seconds that he would want to become one. Child birth... Made the kid shudder just thinking about it.
"Maybe if we look tired and desperate enough, two nice teenage strangers will come behind the bar and help us out." Eden said, referring to exactly how they had gotten stuck in this mess in the first place. They really had been nice for doing it, but Rob hadn't been too nice to them since. Maybe he was going to the bank to get money for them... It was possible, wasn't it? Hey, you already know from a few zillion roleplay's from Eden that he's a bit of an optimist. And so at the moment he was thinking that Rob was in his little beat up car now, heading back to The Red Sunset so that he could pay the teenagers for helping and send them on their way. A pillow and a blanket? Probably a piece of paper to write her will on also, because if Kodi slept here at night she would most probably end up dead or something. People would like, eat her alive because they got so mad at her. Hey, she and Eden both were the ones stopping the flow of alcohol, am I right? Well anyways, Eden laughed as he threw away a paper towel. "I'll be sure to look in the cupboards for a pillow or something. You can use paper towels for blankets, because the only thing we have that's remotely close to a blanket is these towels and they're... Covered in puke." Bleck. There was no way Eden was going to wash THOSE off. They wreaked of digested alcohol. 'I think we should get out of here." Eden said with an evil grin, absolutely sure that she wouldn't agree on leaving. Even if she did, Eden probably wouldn't leave. Stupid Rob. Maybe he would get back from the bank soon..

"Thats okay.. Im not the one to really impress parents" she said shrugging. If she couldn't impress her own parents, then she couldn't impress anyone else's, no matter how bad it was. "Plus i'd rather get pennies and what not from the fountains" she added. That could be a possiblility, but then again she got it from a movie, where some guy helped a girl and her daughter pay off hospital bills. But even the ending was sad, and kodi' didn't want her life to become sad. Turning around, just to hear the sound of a man puking was starting to make her squemish. She hated the sound of someone puking but it wasn't going to help unless someone helped the man to the bathroom, or put him in the ally.
Pouring atleast one more person their drink and looking once more back at Eden. That same annoyed smirk on her face as she started to think of where Rob could have possibly gone and left two teenagers to do his dirty job. "So where do think Rob went" she asked. Kodi really wanted to go back to her dorm, and sleep in her nice, comfy bed, and wonder what she will make of tomarrow. That was if she wasn't going to sleep in until 4:00 at night. After checking the clock four or five times over and over again, she heard Eden talking about teenagers. "Like there would be any here at this time of night. or morning" she added. Tiredness was starting to come over Kodi, fast. Her adhd wasn't going to help keep her up, and as soon as she walked into her dorm, then there she went, even if it was sleeping on the floor by the door. "Okay, well i think i'll be fine without a blanket" she said "and i can sleep on my arms" she added. Looking down on the floor, seeing where there had been some glass on the floor, Kodi started to back down on sleeping on the floor there. "If we get out of here, by 8 in the morning, the news people will be wondering why the club is so torn up. I can see it now. 'Two teenagers helping out a bartender who left them to do his job, dissapeared and left the bar open for people. People were jumping behind counters and pratically killing each other just for a beer. More at noon.' So i think we should stay here" she added. Even if she wanted to go home, she wasn't. Not until everyone, even the creep was out of there. If Eden wanted to leave, even though she hoped he wouldn't leave her here to defend herself or to keep her bored, he could go home but didn't count on it.

Eden was good with impressing parents. He had somehow gotten good manners out of his parents before they had started ignoring him, and he could even put on a suit and tie sometimes. He felt that he looked like a penguin when he did so, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions about themselves. The only thing that most parents didn't like were his snakebites. They all thought, most old fasionly {If that's a word}, that males should not get piericings. Those were for women, to make them feel more like all of the other women. You don't know how many girls I have seen that have their ears piericed or something like that. Heck, I have mine piericed as well, so I guess I can't talk eh? Well anyways, as well as males not piericing themselves, the piericings shouldn't be in plain view on their faces. But Eden had always liked the piericings that he had gotten, and would probably not get any other kind if he had a chance. He sort of wanted to get a tattoo also, but unfortunately he was freakishly afraid of needles. His mum had always told him that tattoos were wayyyy bad for his skin anyways. Pth, what did she care about his skin? "Well, I can't either. Don't feel bad though. You probably wouldn't want to impress my parents anyways." Eden said, sticking his tounge out at the very mention of his parents. They sure did have a way of ruining everything going for their son. Which was one of the reasons that he rarely hung out with them. The man stopped throwing up long enough to look around and see all the grossed out faces around him. Those people were drunk alright, you could see it in their eyes, but they could still figure out what was discusting in their drunken state of being. The man slumped out of the club, trying to hold down whatever was coming up until he got to a trashcan or something. "That, my friends, is the downfall to being horribly drunk." Eden said, hoping to goodness that none of the people near the bar heard that. They would probably take it the wrong way and start pummeling Eden to a pulp... And trust me, being pummeled isn't as much fun as it may or may not sound.
"I think that Rob went to the bank so that he could get money for us. Maybe he was so grateful towards us for giving him a bit of peace while as we took over his job that he wanted to pay us. Where do you think he is?" Eden questioned as he began to put away some of the drinks. He wasn't sure where they had originally been, but he hoped that putting them in the pantry above him would help a bit. As far as he was concerned, the bar was closing down for the night. Or day..? What time was it anyways? Eden was almost so tired that he couldn't think straight. So when he looked over at the clock, it was like he suddenly forgot why he was looking at it in the first place and ended up just staring at the darn thing aimlessly. Hm.. "You have fun on the cold and very hard ground. If you get lucky, maybe you'll end up with a piece of glass in your side." Eden said before looking under the sink for a broom. Someone could get hurt with all of that glass on the ground, where was a broom around that place anyways? "Broom." The kid mumbled, finally finding one. But what about the little dust pan thing that goes with it? Meck, he would find a way to get it off the ground. As Eden swept, he spoke again. "If we got out of here, it would be completely Rob's fault. He would probably end up in jail for making two teenagers work. If we both wear pink or some color like that, maybe we can even pass for fourteen. THEN he would get in trouble for making kids under the age of fifteen work. Isn't it the age of fifteen that people get to start working?" Eden wondered aloud, not really expecting Kodi to answer him. "But I'm realllllly tiiiiired." Eden moaned, trying to seem like a whiney teenager. "And having me here is just as bad as NOT having me here. I'm gonna fall asleep in two seconds...." Eden hoped that Rob would come back soon, because he was so tired he would probably fall asleep standing up. It takes an extremely tired person to do that.

Looking once more over at him and shaking her head, a different smirk on her face. "Thanks for making me feel better" she said as she threw the towl she had with her down and started to look for paper. No suck luck, damn. Looking up and seeing people starting to leave, it was a sign. Kodi was able to go home, maybe take a hot shower and then sleep. Looking once more at the Dj and hearing him playing a couple more songs, Kod was determined to find a peice of paper, maybe a pen and write on a small napkin. Finding no luck, she decided that she was going to help Eden put up all the drinks. Opening a couple cubbards under the bar and placing bottle after bottle down there and shutting him, she still felt disgusted by the smell of the mans alcoholic puke. "And as of now, i quit drinking" she said, telling the truth.
Wipping up some of the water from the ice and the alcohol, Kodi walked over to the stool, and actually finding another and placing it over towards Eden. "Well, i think he just decided that we didn't need him and went home, where he's sleeping in a nice......soft...bed" she said, dragging some of her words as the thought was getting better and better. Opening a couple of drawers and finally finding a pad of paper and a pen, Kodi smiled happily. She started to write down, but once the pen hit the paper, she lost what she was gonna write. "damn it" she said under her breath. It always happened, thats why she never wrote, she always typed on a computer. "True, but i dont think i look like a fourteen year old" she said and looking down at herself. Nope she looked sixteen and that was it. How people mistaken her for 18, who knows. Not even i do, i guess it happens to only the special people?. Finally remembering what she was going to write, Kodi wrote on the pad thanks for leaving us here alone. We almost got attacked by people while you were off doing something else. thanks. x the two teenagers.. Okay so she didn't put their names down, but she also didn't want the police coming to her doors at noon or whatever. "Then again, wouldn't they ask why 14 year olds are in a club?" she asked, not trying to bring him down. Letting out another small yawn, Kodi looked once more back at Eden. "Okay, well we should leave, cause i don't feel like getting raped tonight" she said referring to the guy, who had no life, still sitting there watching them. Maybe he just blacked out but didnt look it. Who knows, but kodi wanted to leave, asap.

Eden hadn't said it to make her feel worse, he had said it to help out a little but I guess he kind of failed at that. Well on most occasions he was able to make people feel better but I guess this wasn't one of them. As Eden's grandmother had always said and still to this day does, 'you win some, you lose some'. I never really liked that saying, but obviously Eden's grandmother had liked it enough to say it over and over to her grandkid. "Surry." Eden said sadly, mopping something brown up from the floor. He didn't want someone coming behind the counter and tripping over it.. Then whoever was in charge of this club might get fired or sued, or even have to pay for the hospital bill. Of course, if the person who fell was a burgular, the puddle would be a hero. The burgular would probably end up with a broken back and not be able to move a muscle, which technically means they wouldn't be able to steal anything. My question is, what would a burgular steal at a free club? The alcoholic drinks maybe? "Go for it," Eden said encouragingly, glad that he had never been one for drinking. Most of it tasted gross, or felt horrible going down. I don't think Eden will grow up to be one of those bald guys with a beer belly when he can't even down two sips of beer himself. The idea of him being bald and having a beer belly made him feel slightly nausiated, so he busied himself with pushing away the last of the alcoholic drinks along with Kodi's help.
"Aw, he wouldn't do that to us. We're just two complete strangers.. But I really think Rob was a bit too trusting with us. We could very well have just wanted a bunch of beer for ourselves." Eden recited as he closed the cupboard. Not much more cleaning of this place left to do and they might be able to get out of the club. Anyways, everyone was slowly leaving anyways, and the DJ had just confessed that he was only playing a few more songs. This was good. Looking around, Eden even felt a little bit sad about leaving. Hm, since summer would be coming up soon, maybe he could sneak out of his window more often and meet Kodi up. Doing this had been fun, plus he had met a few good people in the place who HADN'T thrown up on him. "You're right... Well if we- Meh. I don't know how to make people look fourteen." Eden confessed. He had looked around ten when he was fourteen, so it's kind of obvious that he couldn't even make HIMSELF look the age that he was back then. Eden wondered what she had been frivilously looking around for, but when she found the two items he knew. Or at least when she stopped looking and tried to write something, he sort of figured that he knew what she had been searching for. What was she going to write? A secret note, wonderful! Eden had always wanted to write one of those things and send it to someone, but he didn't know any secrets. "Fourteen year olds in a club? They would probably have a party of course!" Eden replied, trying to imagine the ''fun'' that little fourteen year old kids could have at a bar. The typical 21st century ones would probably just break all the rules and windows. The ones from wayyyy back then would probably be too reserved to play 'spin the bottle'. And speaking of getting raped, that reminded Eden that Kodi had to get home somehow. He knew that he would be okay, especially since he didn't live to far from where they were now. But she was a girl, and sometimes rapers went after girls who were alone... Well now he was petrified that Kodi would end up getting eaten alive by something, so he automatically spoke up. "Do you want me to walk you home? I wont like, memorize how to get there or anything so that I can stalk you or eat you in the middle of the night.. I just wanna make sure that you get there alright." She didn't have to say yes, but if she did it would probably make Eden feel better about her well being. Even though having him around was pretty much just like having a girlfriend around, he was slightly wimpy at times.

"Its okay" she said as she finally finished writing on the pad and left it there. She couldn't believe this night, morning, adventure, yeah an adventure was over and it kinda upset Kodi. Putting away one last bottle and closing up the cabinets from underneath the bar and standing up straight, thinking of anything else that needed to be cleaned up. Nothing except for the bar. Grabbing the towl she had been using, she started mopping up the water stains on the marble or wooden top. "Hey its better stopping now than going to Rehab in a couple years" she said smirking
"well we should leave now before anything else happens" she said, kinda joking but also serious. If Rob was leaving them two to manage the bar alone, then he had some real nerve. Thinking about still being fourteen, Kodi couldn't think anything of it. "Maybe if we. I dunno.." she said. Okay just shut up and finish cleaning up so you can go home, and sleep. Thinking about anything else she wanted to write down since she had the pen and paper out, but her attetion turning back to Eden as she heard him saying that fourteen year olds having a party. "Like they'd believe it with drunken men all over the place" she said. Kinda referring to someone who was passed out and of course the man who was sitting at the bar. Kodi was now determining that he was passed out or something, cause he made no movement, even blinking. Could people blink when their asleep but awake? Listening once more and then actually thinking about the whole rape thing, it was kinda a good idea if he did walk her home. But then again, she would feel bad for making him walk alway the back home. "Sure." she said, not really sure, but it would be a good thing since well, it was late and most of the sexual preditors were out. But then again couldn't they take out both Kodi and Eden. Her mother and step father always told her to use the buddy system, no matter how late or early it was, well it was a good idea. "I mean, thats if you dont have anything else to do after this" she said, kinda, hoping and wishing he didn't.
