If you don't go to the park at least fifty times in one day like Eden does, I guess you are pretty normal. I'm not kidding, this fella that I'm talking about honestly comes to the park in all of his spare time. When he isn't cleaning something up for his parents, hanging out with the few friends he had made at this new Lakeland town, or being in school he was at the park. You could usually find him under that one oak tree- the big one with all of the shady leaves. This was where he got most of his inspiration for writing poems and things of that sort. Now, let me tell you that Eden is not at all serious unless you need him to be, but when it comes to poems and writing of any sort, he doesn't kid. His poems aren't completely dark and depressing, but if you read them you wont exactly feel happy and joyous inside afterwards. Argggg anywayws back to the park and the oak tree. This is where Eden is now, eating a very juicy apple as he tries to find his moment. The moment when the inspiration of being under the oak tree will hit him like a clap of lightning, and he'll start writing at the speed of light.
Once it hit him, he set the apple down beside him, trusting that no bugs or people would step all over it, and began writing down his poem. It all seemed to flow from his bright blue pen, not from him, and it kind of surprised him. It was almost like he was sitting right across from himself, watching in fascination as he wrote with that little grin on his face. You'd know the grin if you knew Eden- The grin that almost had a way of saying 'I know something that you don't', and made people want to walk over to him and ask him what he knew that they didn't. Putting his pen down dramatically, Eden rested his head on the oak tree behind him, almost as if thanking it for the inspiration, and picked his apple up again. There were only about three bites out of it, and since Eden wasn't one for eating an apple as though he should be in a rated R movie, there was still a great amount left. Well what to do now? He wouldn't read over his poem, because then he might feel embarassed about it or change something that shouldn't be changed. He had to wait at least two hours before reading a poem of his own, or else these things would end up happening and he very well might lose a wonderful creation.
Taking out his lime green iPod to distract him from looking at his notebook, Eden hooked the headphones around his ears and turned it on. The sound of.. Erm, let me think of a band.. Cute is What We Aim For blasted through his speakers, making his heart beat faster from not antisipating it being so loud, and he quickly turned it down. Once it was at the right volume, he lay down with one hand behind his head, staring up at the sky and the leaves that slowly fell down around him. This was the way to be, no school, no parents bickering, just this park. This tree. This moment.... What could make it even better, would be an old friend. One who he could talk to until really early in the morning and not even feel awkward about expressing some of his feelings. The feelings that he hadn't told anybody about. Hm, well the chances of someone like that coming around the corner right then and finding Eden somehow was one in a million.

Ivy felt the whisper of the tree branches as she filtered through her auds and tipped her brain off the to the lovely day that lay around her. Now don't you get Ivy wrong she was never this plesent nor was she even close to being a happy person. She stayed inside most of the time and never came out but to walk around at night and maybe head to the bar with her self made fake ID. Yes illegal i know but if you met Ivy that you would relize that it pretty much was illegal for this girl to be alive. Because you know that if it was illegal and it hadn't been done Ivy would be the first one doing it and it was almost always that someone followed suit and was caught the next night, or within a week of her finding this challange.
Lala land a place seldom visited by Ivy's mind but today a place that was all to familliar to her. It was rather funny the way that she would slide in and out of reality trying to find a happy medium even though to her that medium never existed and would never exist. It was rather amusing to talk to Ivy, well that was if she even spotted you the time of day of recognized that you were there. Rather amusing it was when she would completely ignore someone and than they would get all up tight about it and Ivy would just walk off. Hehe the mean streak that she had in her was neverending.
Black atreyu shirt adorned her small figure as she walked and rings of perfectly done eyeliner with a coating of blood red under and a slight bit ontop, showed off her black eyes. Yes she had slipped on a pair of black contacts today that made the iris of her void look black. Well if she had to wear contacts than why not spruce things up abit. Her black drainpipes fitted her legs perfectly and dropped and ended just above her black and white checkered converse fitter perfectly to her slim feet. Her hair was well, messy, poofed and striaght at the same time, with a black headband with green pokadots separating the majority of her hair from her bangs which cascaded over her black voids letting off an even odder look.
Travelling across the grass like a black speak in a sea of green she rounded the corner of a large cottonwood and than headed off spotting a playground not to far away. Ahh the swings a place of refuge with only the little kids that gave you wierd looks, the ones that would run away when you said boo. It was so much better than cocky people. Though when she looked closer there was a person under a tree not far from the small pea gravel, and as she neared Ivy was almost flatend. It couldn't be, could it? No he wouldn't be here, how, when where why? All of those were wnders that ran through her head as she neared the boy. Swerving around so that she got a better look and confermed. Breaking into a run she ducked behind the tree without a noise and waited to see if eh would notice a bright smile on her face and even her black eyes were smiling at this.

Now many of you reading this might automatically let your little minds go off to thinking that Eden notitices his old best friend, and they go running off together into the sunset, both being happier than they had ever been before. Those of you who are thinking that, shove your heads down a toilet and flush exactly four times in a row. There will be no running off together being happier than they had been in years around here, at least not right this second. And why not, might you demand? Because, for one thing Eden is a guy. Guys don't notice things such as girls darting around behind trees and things of that sort unless they are rather special. Although Eden is special, especially for being cursed as a guy and all, he wasn't special enough to notice the girl behind his oak tree. The second reason as to why there will be no happiness at the moment is because Eden is already bursting with happiness right now. As I said in the first post, he would be happier if he was visited by the ghost of Christmas pasts... Or someone he knew long ago, but if he didn't get visited by said person, he wouldn't mind. Thirdly and lastly, he was listening to his music at the perfect volume. The definition of the perfect volume to him would be not too loud whereas you can't hear a tree falling in a nearby forrest, but not so quiet that you have to strain to hear it over some type of ruckus going on behind you, and then you get a headache from all of that straining. Kind of more in the middle, where you can hear stuff going on in the background, but it isn't completely over powering your music experience. And yeah you all love how I talk :3.
So as it took me fourty-five paragraphs just to say, Eden didn't notice a girl darting behind his tree. He just kept staring off into space, listening to his Cute is What we Aim For cd at the perfect volume, until the cd went off and he really didn't want to listen to music anymore. Sure he was madly in love with music and always would be, but there were times when Eden wanted to go out and play even MORE than listening to mind relaxing music. Packing his things up in a small bag that he always seemed to be spotted with, a bag with the words 'London: Brittish Tea' on the front, Eden walked over to the swing set and sat down on one of the swings. A kid next to him took one look at him and smiled shyly before running off. Kids these days, weirdos. It was weird how the swing sets had this way of turning the person on the swings completely against the world. Now Eden couldn't even admire his perfect oak tree with wonderful leaves, because his back was now to it. Maybe if he sat the wrong way on the swing..? But then he wouldn't be able to see horrible predators coming behind him. They could be coming to.. Try to eat his poem notebook, ask him out on a date, or even tickle him. And we all know how much Eden loved his poem notebook, found random people asking him out strange, and was extraordinarily tickilish. Letting out a small sigh, Eden stayed put and hoped to goodness that he would find someone to talk to soon. Otherwise he would have to start talking to himself like one of those wonky birdladies oO.
OOC. I liked your post =D You write better than I do at 11:45 at night mate.

Voids wandered over to him as her small but extremely puffed head stuck out from behind the tree and she wondered if he had noticed her but of course being the fact that he was one not paying attention and two listening to music there was no chance that he even had the lsightest clue in hell what was happening to him at this very moment. He was being watched and it was rather creepy when Ivy thought about it. She was behaving like the old her, like the 7 year old her back when she had her best friend and they were pretty much atteched at the hip. Inseperable in a way i guess that you could say and it was rather amazing when you thought about it.
Well right as she was about to pop out from behind that tree scare the bejesus out of him and probably get whacked for it to she watched him get up ducking back behind the tree and praying that she wouldn't get seen by him. When she finally peaked and i really mean peaked it was one eye around the tree hopping he wasn't facing this way she saw him walking off toward the park. Sighing and as his back was still turned Ivy darted off and hid behind another tree making her way around behind him tree by tree as she waited for him to sit down on a swing.
Ahhh the swings it was the building block of their relationship and obviously a place where they would once meet agian, rather odd when you thought about it but i guess that was how fate worked wasn't it. If it wasn't that this was jsut some strange coincidence than. Yess it was fate and Ivy was getting all wierd. Xhaking her head and sending black tendrils flying she looked around and than remembered what she was hear to do. Not think about her actions, actually act upon them.
Stepping out from behind the tree her soft bottomed shoes made hardly any noise across the grass but she stopped momentarely trying to figure how she was planning on negotiating the gravel, well that was something that was going to be hard becuase if you have never run on gravel or rather tried to be stealthy on it. It was impossible, pretty much totally.
Bitting her lips she finally just made a run for it comming up behind him and poking him in his most tickley spot, right on his side above his hip and than grabbing hold of the swing chains and pushing, she squeeked and stepped back clasping her hands behind her and looking over at him waiting. Her shoulders were shrugged all the way up to her neck and she had plastered a cute look on her face.

As Eden finally stopped thinking so hard about aimless and pointless things and figured that he probably SHOULD swing because he was ON a swing, he felt someone poke him and almost jumped completely off the swing and onto the grass. It would have been soft, yet he had been holding onto the swing with his hands, so obviously he wouldn't have gone anywhere anyways. Well anyhow, he didn't fall out of the seat {But came awesomely close} but he did giggle insanely for like, two hours. Yes that's what I call manly, ha. Feeling the momentum of the swing below him, he kind of still didn't feel it all that much because he was still giggling. Once he finally stopped he purpously fell off the swing, facing whoever it was who had poked him and or pushed him, on the ground. Once he looked at the person's quite innocent and cute face, Eden's mouth dropped open. There was no way it was her- But who else looked exactly like her on the planet? Eden would have recognized Ivy if he was freaking blind, and she was definately standing right in front of him at this very moment.
"Ivyyyy!" He screached, jumping over the swing and tackling her with a huge hug. It had been absolutely years, maybe even centuries, since Eden had seen his old childhood friend. "Did you put some type of tracker in my ass and find me that way? How long have you been in Lakeland? Are you staying? If I'm squishing you, just let me know." Eden said quickly and excitedly. There were so many things that they had to catch up on, so many things they could talk about... Eden could be there all night with Ivy and it would feel like way back then again. Except for the fact that his own mum would never let him stay out in the park late at night... He had a curfue.
"Here, sit." Eden commanded, trying to sound like some type of boot camp commander person... I don't know owhat they're called. He directed Ivy over to the swing next to the one he had just been on, before sitting on the one he had sat in a few minutes earlier. "Talk! Juggle! Do something!" Eden squeaked, bobbing up and down excitedly in his seat. He would probably end up falling off of it and ending up face first with his imprints in the sand if he didn't calm down. But come ON! Ivy was there! His best buddy on the planet, the girl who had been accused many times of being his girlfriend, the one and only! "Is it really you though?" Eden questioned, poking her once on the thigh to make sure that she wasn't some type of hologram or something. Well he probably would know if Ivy was a hologram when he had hugged her. And when he had directed her over to the swing next to him. Come to think of it, Eden sure was kind of touchy feely with her. Had he noticed? Probably not.. It was just Eden's way with some girls.

Well yes could it be anyone else than Ivy. No it was someone that found her picture and decided that it would be rather cool if she dressed up just like her and put on all the same clothes and than acted just like her and than found him. Well ya right the chances of that were so impossible anyways, haha like that would ever be something that either should consider as a reason for her to be here and the reason why she had found him. Well anyways yes it was her and it would always be here because she was here to say and nothing anyone said about her or anything that she did could make her leave. Especially since she had finally been reuinited with her old friend and the thing was that friendship was not the only thing that had been rekindled when she saw him.
Ok so that reaction sort of scared her but what could you expect from her best friend after so many years, probably even a decade or so. It had been so long that she had forgot that there was even a remote chance that she would ever see him again. But of course things like that always proved to be wrong and when they were finally proven wrong it was the greatest thing in the world. Ivy was overcome by his hug and giggled her thin arm's wrapping around his middle as she leaned agianst him holding on for dear life practacly because the force of the hug pushed her back so much she was threatend to fall over and die, scraping hersef on the ground, "AHHHHH no i didn't fate just works like that, and i have been at lakeland for a few years now, and i am here to stay for now and forever and since i saw you again even longer." She said with a shrug of her cute shoulders and a nod of her head, sending the black tendrils flipping over around her head. Because you know that when Ivy nodded and she really got into it, she could knock herself out or anyone she hit her head on for that matter. Yes she had done that before and no it wasn't that fun but it sure was entertainment and funny for everyone.
She moved quickly as he ushered her toward a swing. Now how could Ivy ever give up the chance to swing, it was only her one most favoritest passion in life and she wouldn't give it up for the world, but she would for Eden. That's how much she 'loved' him but that was friends love or rather that was what she thought was friends love anyways, "Hehe well you know that i was never able to juggle, and it is so me" She said with a role of her voids her mannerisms drifting back to the new Ivy rather than the old Ivy. She was sure different than the old her. As he would soon get to see she was different but deep down inside it was still the same Ivy and she still had the same mannerisms as she had always had, it was just that the world had turned her against all other people telling her that if she stayed away she would stay unharmed. It was Stryder that had taught her that she was loved and that he would always care for her. To bad he was never around and she would never find him when she needed him most.
-ohhh i talented hehe-

Fate did work in the most amazing ways, obviously because Eden was walking proof of it. It always seemed that someone was watching after him because he was always saved from things or brought to things.. Or things were brought to him. He wasn't supposed to live because he was such a tiny baby that the doctor said he only had about two days to live. Pth, obviously that doctor was way wrong since he had been living for around seventeen years now, far over two. He was brought to Lakeland, this weird city that he had never thought he would like all that much even in his optimistic state, and yet he had met some of the most amazing people here in just the few weeks or so that he had lived there. And obviously Ivy had been brought to him, and now they would get to be best friends forever! It sounds like something Spongebob Squarepants would say, but Eden was beyond giddy at this moment and didn't care if his thoughts sounded like a gay sponge that lived under the sea with a depressing octopus and a fat starfish. I guess he had seen enough of the show to know exactly how all the characters looked, but he had truthfully never liked Spongebob all that much. He was far too annoying for Eden's liking.
"You've been here for a few years?! Huh. That's weird. I've been here for about three weeks or so." Eden tried to remember the exact date that he had arrived at Lakeland but couldn't remember. Does this surprise anyone? I mean, who remembers the EXACT date and time of their arrival to someplace? Well cool people, or odd people if you think about it. Shrugging as well, Eden gave up on trying to remember dates and times. It wasn't all that important to him anyways. This was probably where he would stay until he decided to move away. But now that Ivy said that she would stay longer than forever because he was there, he would probably have to stay even longer than THAT. "Well I'll stay now and forever, and two years longer than you're staying since I saw you again." Eden replied in a challenging voice. He was like a little kid sometimes. Pth sometimes? More like 99.999999.. % of the time. Obviously Ivy must have known that. He could get annoying, but Eden knew when to be serious and when people needed cheering up. As Ivy nodded, Eden thought that someday he would end up on her wrong side, and then she would nod at him and probably knock him out. The girl had some forceful nods hidden deep inside. Actually, not all that deep..
"Well it would be cool if you had learned since you moved away, cos then you could become one of those awesome carnies who travel all around the world with 'the worlds most bendy woman' and the 'bearded lady' and the short lad who can fit inside a box... You can be the main show! 'Come one, come all to see IVY THE JUGGLER-ER!' Or how about 'walk, don't run!' Wait I think it's supposed to be 'RUN! Don't walk to see the fantastic short chick who can juggle stuff! Things as heavy as five pounds!' You can get some serious cash for that, man." I am completely surprised at this moment to say that Eden has a brain. You would think that it would get shriveled completely, like a deflated balloon, from all that lack of oxygen. Don't you like, lose brain cells that way or something? He could probably be a carnie as well.. "Come one, come all to see THE WEIRD LAD WITH SNAKEBITES WHO TALKS A LOT!" Just give him a subject and he'll ramble on until the end of time. He would probably love that, since he would get to be with Ivy the Juggler until the end of time. "It IS so you!" Eden said excitedly, trying not to explode like a popping balloon over the fact that she was there. He was like some type of mentally challenged dog who was slobbering too much. Only his slobber was more like words. I'm surprised Ivy didn't walk away, leaving him there to bounce about and talk nonstop for the rest of the night. But could you blame him?
"So tell me things. How have you been since you moved away from the old town?" Eden questioned, finally calming down and breathing normal at this point. I hope we all realize that this kid can as five point five million questions per minute if you give him the chance to. And trust me, Eden had a lot of questions kept down. It was almost like he had a little box that he had pushed away when he was younger. It was filled with all of his childish rebuttles, filling up with questions as the years went by, and now it was finally being opened up. The pressure would surely kill him.
OOC. Oh yes. That's talent =) Pth I can't even spell talent bahhaha.

Voids wandered back to him as her eye watched him in the most peculiar way and she loved it better yet she loved him and that was never to change becuase you know that once Ivy started to love someone she would never be pried from them unless someone super greater came along. She had missed Eden so much but she also had a boyfriend and though he hadn't been around in such a long time she still had to respect that they were together and she would awknowledge that to anyone who asked. Though right at this moment and having just met Eden agian for the first time in forever she didn't have to start blurting things out that really didn't matter at that moment it time. All that really mattered to her was the fact that she was reunited with her former best friend and all round 5-year old boyfriend from way back when. The one that she had been attached to at the hip when they were younger, well you know what she could already feel the bond once again forming and there was nothing that she could do to change that or anything at all.
A few years now that she thought about it really just seemed like months and now that she was on that subject well thinking about it was the only thing on her mind. A few years that would be about three right, well give or take a year about anyways. You knew that Ivy had never been the greatest at math or keeping track of things like that, could it be because that girl always just lived for the moment and never thought about anything other than that. Well yes i guess that it was for that reason because you know that something like that could never be changed. Ivy would never learn to live for the future or live thinking about the pasty, she was always and would always be a live for the moment girl.
Looking to him she thought about the years that had passed and the things that she had done, the people she had met or rather those that had talked to her and she had just walked away and laughed. She had done everything herself without any need for anyone else but when she met Strydier that everything had changed and suddenly she had needed someone and that someone had made it really hard for her to still be her challenged and quiet self, "A carnie my ass, you could be the worlds fastest talker and i would be the only one able to understand a word that you were saying" She said lifting her head up high and resting her hand on her chest looking all proud like they could be the newest and wierdest lakeland freak show and no one could ever stop them becuase Ivy would throw balls at them of knives and Eden would talk to them really fast and than they would give up and run away. Ohh yes Ivy was all to familliar with the running away of people that met her, she obviously gave off that, 'run away from me' vibe, either that or the, "go away or i will bite you" vibe. Either she really didn't seem to mind that people stayed away from her on a regular basis.
Well that dreded question that had come up way sooner than Ivy thought that it would have, it was stupid and bothered her, she questioned her fact that she should tell him that she had a boyfriend would things change. But he was never around it was like he didn't ever care about her and deep down though she never showed it, it really did hurt ivy deep down, it made her feel like once hse was wanted but now she was just tossed aside and left alone, "I've been ok, a little lonely lately...... I have a ...boyfriend but i never see him anymore" She really didn't want to admit that she wanted someone around to talk to, someone to lay with her and watch a movie someone to tell her that she was special. Flipping her voids toward the sky she blinked back her thoughts and hoped that he wouldn't notice looking out to her left away from him and toa tree her head slightly tilting sideways as she leaned onto the rusty bars and she glanced his way awaiting the answer.
-ahhh yay's i got some muse back-

Eden probably WAS the worlds fastest talker. He was like, the all time champion at talking. Maybe he should have aspired to be that as an occupation instead of being a writer.... No, he would never choose anything over a writing occupation. Eden knew since pretty much like, day two and a half that he wanted to write for the rest of his life. The day he found out, he had tried to write a story on the wall with a green marker. Needless to say, his mother didn't find the ending quite so funny like it should have been, but over the years Eden had worked on writing the story in a funnier way, only now he uses paper and a pencil. "We could be on that one show! What do you call it.. Rigsby's Believe it Or Not! I never liked that show. Or we could be in the Guiness!" Eden gasped, imagining his picture in the Guiness 2007 book. 'World Fastest Talker' it would say, and next to it would be a picture of him with one of the shirts he made himself, his lips moving so fast that they were mere blurs in the picture. At least he would be recognized for his talent. "You always could understand me." Eden added, beginning to pump on the swing a little bit. He slowly got higher and higher, until he felt that he was going to fall off of the swing, and then he slowed down a bit so tha the was still moving, just not quite as high.
Hearing Ivy say something, Eden managed to hear what exactly it was that she said. Pushing his bright green converse into the pavement below him and trying not to seem too surprised, Eden forced a smile onto his face. "You messed up my converse." He said, for lack of something better to say. Well this was a kind of awkward thing to say, not what he had said about his green converse, but more about her boyfriend. "Well I'm surry that you never see your boyfriend anymore." Eden felt like throwing up when he said the word. What a horrible feeling, like your about to throw up just because of a simple word? That must be kind of bad. "Does he... Hm. Does he live in this town? Or does he live out of state so you never see him that way?" Eden inquired, starting to pump again. He had to move somehow so that he could distract himself from all of the thoughts going through his head. He just wanted to protect her, since she was the only thing in his life that was ever good to him and never changed, and hearing that someone she most probably cared about never spent time with her anymore wasn't the best thing for Eden to hear.
Well obviously that wasn't the ONLY thought going through his head, but that was the one that seemed to scream out for his attention the loudest. The next best, the runner up if you will, would be that she had changed. The Ivy he used to know didn't have boyfriends, especially ones that didn't treat her as they should. The one thing in his life that never changed, was now changing and Eden wasn't sure if he could handle it. I mean, he had moved away from all of his friends, the ones he had sort of come to like, and then he has to start a new school with NEW friends, find a new job and a new house. The only things that stayed the same were his parents, who never seemed to stop bickering for longer than three seconds. And now he finds Ivy again and finds out that.. Bah. Eden almost felt like he was going to explode. Why all the change? What was wrong with everything being how it used to be? "Change." Eden muttered, trying with all his might to go higher and higher, going over the top towards the moon where he would sit alone forever and never change himself. The only changing thing on the moon is what you look at, and if you move along WITH what you look at, it's almost like nothing is changing at all. Eden was going to try to be happy for his friend though. After all, she deserved someone too right?

She was off over the moon past the stars way out somewhere where she couldn't fignure out what was going on, when the world didn' hurt her like it had come to hurt her and when life was just easier that it had been. It was hard fo her believe that Stryder was not along and she couldn't find the words t explain. She still wanted to be with him, but people drift apart when they don't see eachother for such a long time and it was hard for her to relate to him, she felt as though the person that had once filled that space in her heart had now left and taken the whole thing with them, it was hers she wanted it. It was her heart and it was a part of her and nothing to do with him, though she felt for him it was slowly showing that it was hard for her to find the things and feelings that she had. Don't get her wrong she loved him and still had the feelings but she just wanted to know if he was cheating on her, or what he was doing while she wasn't around or rather when she wasn't around.
She heard him comment while her feet scuffed in the dirt her black and cream soft tops were covered over the toe's with dirt and she was wondering how she was going to clean them later. They needed a good wash anyways and it was going to bother her until they were once again clean. She had usually been a pro at keeping her shoes clean but lately it was rather hard, maybe she just didn't care anymore, "No he lives here in town" Her voice was now meek and no longer the strong and happy Ivy that she had once been. She had been down for a while about this, a few things had happend and she had been scared to reviel it to anyone for fear of anger toward her once agian. She coudln't take things like that and itwas almost like her world was comming down around her falling in shambles as she wondered how she was going o fix it, but simple nails wouldn't do it anymore. It only held up something for so long before letting go.
Ivy hadn't wanted to change and it wasn't her that changed herself more than the fact that the world had changed her, made her more hostile showed her that love and care was something that got you nowhere in life. There was no room for being like that in this town and Ivy knew it she just didn't trust it. She longed to be that carefee little girl that she once was and deep down inside of her was hidden such a girl. It's just that showing that person would make her life harder and the people around her would be let in like a wall around something was torn down she was showly being torn down.

Eden wondered if Ivy really wanted to talk about her newest boyfriend, since when she next answered him her voice wasn't as it had been a few seconds earlier. She seemed kind of sad about something... Maybe it was the fact that Eden was taking over her town just when she and her boyfriend had found their happiness. Well there was no way that Eden was leaving again. Even though most of his room was still packed and everything... No, he wasn't leaving just for Ivy. He had had enough of his army-moves-the-family-everywhere life, and he was staying put until he said otherwise. No matter WHAT his parents said about leaving this town to find a better suited for families one. Eden would stay in this Lakeland town. If Ivy really wanted to be alone with her new boyfriend, Eden could do everything in his power to not run into her around town, because he was positive that it was possible to never see a person that you had lived in the same town with for a few years. Pth, Eden would know this firsthand, since he had somehow managed to not see one of his old friends for about three years of them both living in the same town. Maybe they walked past eachother every day for those three years, but Eden hadn't noticed if they had. What Eden truely wondered was if Ivy was happy or not. Although this will probably sound sappy, Eden would leave her alone if she was happy because he actually WANTED her to be happy. He knew that there were times in her life that weren't all that great, and she seemed depressed sometimes. So if this guy could fix it for her, then more power to him.
Eden felt cold inside, like he had just had an opperation involving taking a part of him out. Then after that, eating large amounts of freezing cold ice cream. What had been taken out of him and replaced with ice cream? Maybe this feeling was his liver being taken out. Or part of his stomach, that could be rather painful. Maybe his heart was being eaten alive? Well whatever it was, he kind of wanted it back. He didn't want an incomplete feeling in his chest. It felt funny. Eden tried to ignore this feeling, and replaced it with talking instead of ice cream. "He lives here? Well then I don't really see how you guys could not see eachother.. Is he one of those weird fellas whose all about seeing the entire world in sixty days or whatever like that Mickey Mouse movie, so he's been gone for that many days or something?" No, that probably wasn't it. This fella was most probably no Mickey Mouse. Eden's next thought was that maybe he was somehow cheating on her. Could that be? Eden would knock this guy's face off if that was so. "Is he in college so he has a lot of schoolwork to do, and since the two of you don't live together you hardlely ever see eachother?" Eden questioned, hoping to goodness that all his insessive questions weren't making Ivy feel even worse. Maybe they should just move on to a different subject. Or maybe Eden should just move out of the equation completely. He always found a way to make things difficult, even without trying. "I think I'll go home and unpack something. My mum probably needs help with all of her kitchen stuff cos.. Well you know her and her kitchen." Eden added after a moment, getting off of the swing that slowly swayed after being released from the 'heavy' burdon of Eden. He didn't want to leave, and he didn't want to go home where he WOULD really have to help out with the kitchen utensils and things, but Eden just thought it was best for Ivy if they didn't talk much anymore. In his mind, he had just interrupted her relationship with her boyfriend, somehow, and he was kind of getting in the middle/ confusing things. Eden scuffed his green converse into the sandish pavment once before beginning to walk in the direction of his house. Past the oak tree. By the library. Turn left at the ice cream shop. He knew it all so well in just a least amount of time. But the new and very rececnt Ivy, he didn't know at all.

Her voids reached the ground once again as those horrible thoughts she just wanted to forget about ran through her head once agian. She was so happy that Eden was back and that ti ws going to be like old times, but right now he seemed as though he didn't want her anymore, he didn't want anything to do with her. It was funny she was scared, if she lost him once agian she wouldn't know what to do. Ivy was saying this from the bottom of her heart if she lost Eden she would die. It would be the death of Ivy, once agian from the time she lost him back when she was young to right now when she met up with him again had been the most up and down times of her life. She couldn't believe that he was back but speaking of Strydier made her wonder if he actually was cheating on her and if was why wouldn't he just break up with her and save her the pain of it all.
When he spoke of mickey mouse she giggled slightly, it was their old thing. They had watched practacly every single movie made with mickey in it and it was just like the most fun that they had, had when they were kids. Smililng over at him weakly she tilted her head off the swing and looked over at him the same playful look that had been in her voids so many years ago had come back and if you looked close than you would see the old Ivy the fun playful one, before the world got so hard and life got so confusing, "No he doesn't have school work or anything he's just never around" She said just relizing now that she was feeling sick to her stomach thinking about this in full. Ivy had always wondered why he wasn't around but she had never sat down and actually took the time to think about the reason why he wasn't there for her. When she phoned him he didn't answer and though she had left messages they just seemed to never be returned. Most of the time she just lived in her room and kept to herself but today, today she was glad that she had decided to venture far from the placid painted walls of that box she called a dorm.
Hearing that he was going to leave she looked up at him with pleading eyes and almost shead a tear. Did he think that she wanted him to go, that she wanted him to leave her alone so she had time with Strydier, he was so wrong if he thought that. The person she wanted to spend time with was him. She couldn't bare not to be with him and though she had slowly gotten over him leaving. He had always taken a part of her heart with him when he left and now that she had been reunited with him it was like she felt like the old her. That part of her that he took was the child deep down inside,
Ivy watched the lonely swing beside her as he stood up and then turned to leave. She felt the tear spill over her lid and run solomly down her pale face as it was threatend to be followed by another. She sucked them back looking up at the sky and than curled her fingers around the chains of the swing and pulled herself up running after her him catching his hand in hers. Her fingers curled around his as hse swung around him and wrapped both arms around his middle. The height difference put her at optimal hugging height, "Eden please don't leave me" It sounded like a girlfriend begging a boyfriend not to leave her. Well it wasn't it was one friend that didn't know where those feelings had just come for begging the other not to leave. She needed him more than she knew and she didn't know why. All that Ivy knew was that she wasn't letting go of him agian. Burying her face in his chest she let the tears run feely down her cheeks staining his shirt a darker color as it absorbed the wetness and rumpled slightly. Her arms still clsped behind him didn't want to let go.

Eden felt horrible about leaving Ivy there alone on the swing. I mean, as he walked further away and thought about it, he was only leaving her MORE alone. He continuously left her throughout their time together- His parents moved him or he had to go in early for dinner, or someones parents just didn't like the idea of the two of them together, but some how the two always got split up. And now when Ivy might have needed the wonderful Eden to put on his charm and make her smile once again, he was leaving her just because he couldn't handle seeing his girl with another guy? This guy had hurt her by leaving her and now Eden was doing the same thing. Come on kid! Open your eyes and realize that you can't let jealousy get in the way ALL the time. Just when people aren't watching.. Eden stayed strong, though, not turning around with a smile on his face saying 'just kidding. Anyways tell me about life BESIDES this horrible fella.' although he really kind of wanted to. You know how long it had been since they had talked? For some reason they just hadn't stayed in touch after he moved away. He had memorized her phone number, just never used it. Why not? He did want to know about the rest of her life, how she had been, the funny things that happened, if she ever thought about him while they were apart. But he wasn't going to ask the last one, he would just wait for her to say something like it. But she might not... Ugh Eden did tend to over think things involving Ivy. Very often. But now it wasn't about Eden! It wasn't ABOUT him being the bad guy and not calling a girl when he said he would, or forgetting a vase for the flowers, or not spending as much time as he should with a person. It was about how one of his oldest bestest friends needed him at the moment because another guy hadn't made time for her. And he was just going to walk away and leave her there. Come on, Eden. If your freaking legs would just stop moving.. He tried to make them stop or turn around or break dance or SOMETHING but it was like they were on autopilot and they wouldn't stop moving! Stupid Eden legs. Lucky for him, Ivy's legs were working in perfect condition.
And just like that, her arms were wrapped around him and he was the human tissue. He had always wondered what it felt like to be the human tissue.. I mean not that he hadn't made girls cry or been in the presence of a girl crying, because trust me he had been. It's kind of awkward but after a while you kind of do get used to it. Like a doctor gets used to giving shots or seeing kids freak out at the sight of those HUUUUUUUGUE needles. I definitely just spelled huge wrong. But anyways. He was used to being around crying people but he had never actually had them like, run up to him and cry ON him. Maybe he had hugged them after they had cried and his shirt got wet or something like that but not like this. Without even thinking about it, Eden put his arms around her in a tight embrace and rested his chin on her head. He would have laughed at her because he was taller than she was [and Eden wasn't very tall, trust me] but figured that now wasn't exactly the time for making fun of short people. "I wont leave you." He responded, and strange enough he actually meant it. Oh look at all you judging people out there, saying that he's a guy and he doesn't actually mean anything that he says. Well the truth of the matter is that Eden would pretty much do anything for this girl. TO A POINT! I mean he wouldn't chop of any body parts for her, but he woulllllllld take a bullet for her, he would give a speech in her honor, he would start a fight with anyone who hurt her- Which might be what comes next, technically. Which is why he might just have to stay in the park all night past his curfew to try to fix what he had messed up. "I'm surry.." He said softly, hoping she actually heard him. He was surry for almost leaving her, for actually leaving her multiple times, for allowing another guy to hurt her- Even for things he hadn't done yet. We all know that Eden can be a bit of.. Ahem. A bit of a screwup sometimes. He makes mistakes. He's bound to make many more with Ivy in the next few posts, if we have any more. Eden held her tighter and rubbed her back supportively, waiting for her tears to slow down.
OOC; I'm back to stay! I hope you actually come back to the site and respond to this eventually, 'cos I was looking forward to us =(

She watched him and wondered if he walked away again what would come of this meeting would she just forget would things just go back the way they were. What would come of strydier. Everything that she had always wondered was now playing out different senario's in her mind. It was possibly the fact that she couldn't take being left alone or maybe it was the fact that she hadn't seen him in so long but there was something there as he arm's lay around his chest. His head upon hers her face buried in his warm shirt. She couldn't move, was it his cologne or what she just felt so at home in his arm's. She never thought that something like that could happen to people like them. Ivy didn't know how he felt but it was the fact that she was going to wait around forever she didn't know if he had even moved on. For all she knew he could be seeing someone at this very moment but to pass up something like this was like letting the love of your life just walk away. Never moving to stop them and right now Ivy was feeling just like that person. The one with their feet cemented to the floor. The one that couldn't move much less speak their mind. The thing was she wouldn't need to speak to explain this to him. Tilting her head up she rested her chin looking up at him against his chest. Her face was mear inches from his as she felt the need to just lean up and feel his lips on hers. She had missed something in her life and right now it was proving to be just what she thought it was, it was him. Was she just upset with Strydier or was it truth behind that look. No matter what it was within second her lips were pressed up against his and her voids were flickering closed beneath her lids as the last thing she saw was him. His warm lips touched her own as she titled her head and moved her lips agianst his.
Suddenly it dawned on her she was kissing Eden she didn't know what was going on in his life what was happening. But did it ever feel good. It just in a way felt right and something like that you could never fake. Pulling away she dropped back her hands receading from his chest as she stepped backward and than glanced at him before dropping her voids once agian, "I'm so sorry." She said covering her mouth they were a mear step apart still within reaching distance as Ivy reached her fingers up to touch her lips her voids watching the grass oh so intently as she sighed and hoped to god that he wouldn't be mad at her. That maybe he could find it in him to forgive what she had just done. [it's not that great]

Although Eden claimed to be horrible at situations like these, [the comforting people, not finding out that maybe his old best friend had feelings about him.. Now THAT was new to him] he was actually quite good with them. You know how if you start crying in front of a guy, it's kind of hard for them to cope with? 'Cos they don't know what to do, and basically if they don't stop you from crying in like, two seconds, you kind of turn on them. Not YOU, but the girl in general. You start lashing out at them because really you have no idea what else to do and the guy is usually just standing there like "What the hell did I do!" but anyways. So there are two different scenarios for a girl crying and a guy being there. There iiiiiiiiis. a. The boy awkwardly puts his hand on the girls shoulder, patting it harder than he was supposed to, and saying horrible things that don't make anything any better. For example 'is there anything I can do?' when they know full well there is nothing they can do usually. b. The boy grabs the girl into a horribly forceful yet somehow comforting hug, not trying to say anything comforting because they know that nothing can really comfort the girl at a time like this and his presence is enough for the time being. Then on- Why am I saying this, someone might read this and be like 'what the heck, this doesn't happen in real life, you know.' But keep in mind this is ROLE playing, people [not the dirty kind]. Nothing on this site is truthfully real.. I'M ONLY MAKING THINGS WORSE! I think I'll just keep going..
Eden thought that he was doing the wrong thing, that he should say something, wondered what he was going to do about his best friend's broken heart because it wasn't like they could duck tape it together like that one time they broke his mother's favorite china plate.. He thought he had been doing the right thing by taking himself out of the picture, but apparently he was needed. 'It's good to know that Eden, the best friend, will always be there to comfort and make sure people look good before going off to dates... With scum.' Eden thought glumly, then shook himself out of it. This really was happening, and he didn't need to be getting all jealous at a horrible time like this. Eden was about to apologize for being jealous, but when he looked down into Ivy's face to say it, her face was on his, which kind of freaked him out for a second. He knew that he had zoned out for a moment, deep in thought and stuff, but long enough for Ivy to go off and get horribly drunk? Why else would she kiss him, she must have realized that he was Eden. After a second when she still didn't stop, he just kind of.. Oh I don't know how to describe it. He pretty much [for lack of better words here] got used to the feel of her lips on his, their bodies pressed together, the thought of the two of them together with Strydier looking in on THEM for once. And then just like that, their little moment was over and Ivy seemed further away then ever.
"Don't worry about it." Eden said quickly, not wanting to avoid her eye but somehow doing it anyways. What did this mean? Was this only out of the moment being so horrible, and him smelling so Edeney? If that's not a word then it should be, just so you know. Eden was confused and kind of mad at himself, partly at Ivy, and a bit hungry. He had no idea what was going on and was still in a bit of a fog from.. Well you know. "I wont tell Strydier, if that's what you're worried about. I'm sure the last thing he wants to know is that good old Eden is in the picture." Eden laughed, or was he crying? He had no idea what his body was doing anymore.. Wait, no. It had decided to sit on the grass, and now his mind was calculating things to say to make the situation less awkward. He just kind of sat like that for a minute or two, staring at the same grass that Ivy had just been like, penetrating with her own eyes.. "God what is wrong with us.. You have a boyfriend, you know Ivy." Eden said honestly, finally looking her in the eye, or in the face because maybe her eyes were still searching the grass? I can't role play for you, sooooo I don't know what's happening there. "I'm not him, and I probably never will be.." He wanted so bad to say 'no matter how much I want to be' or make a joke, tell her the truth, do something besides probably pop her bubble even more. He wasn't just popping it at this point, he was throwing it to the ground and stomping on it. Well not really, just being honest. I don't know." Eden didn't want to be the reason for them breaking up- I don't know who I mean. I could mean Ivy and Strydier because this WAS a small town and word could get out that Eden and Ivy were making out in a children's park, and then their relationship would be all over. Maybe I was talking about Eden and Ivy, because if something happened and they ended up going out, what if something went wrong? Would their relationship be ended along with their friendship, or would their friendship somehow help them with the relationship part? This was all too confusing and Eden was only sure that he wanted Ivy to be happy. And he wasn't all that sure that she would be happy with him and without Strydier... After all, she hadn't chosen Eden.
OOC; Mine isn't either, it makes no sense and it's a horrible combination of 'wanna-be deep' and 'trying to be funny'. Welcome back :]
